I'm 14 and i got my first boyfriend 5 days ago. Him and I are both really shy about relationship stuff. He was the one that asked me out and I've loved him for almost 2 years. Since he asked me out does he expect that I'm going to make the first move like hold his hand. I havent yet and I don't know how I should because he sits with his friends at lunch (i want him to sit with me but i dont know how i should) and i only have recess 3 times (this week 2 times) a week because im busy. But even then he only comes over to me every couple of minutes. He might come over in 2 weeks becuase it gets dark here very quickly and i want him over on a weekend. Plus i go to my dads every other weekend and he lives 45 minutes away. So, how do i reach out to hold his hand, am i not protective of him enough, and how can i not lose him. He's also one of my best friends.

This is the exact same way me and my first boyfriend got together, and we were both really shy too. I doubt he expects you to make the first move. Being shy he is probably afraid to touch you because he doesn't want to offend you or scare you off. He also may be a little wary of showing he cares about you in front of his friends because he is a guy. You guys should have a very good relationship because you started out as friends, which gives you a lot of good support in the relationship. I don't think you need to worry about being protective of him, or losing him right now. It has only been 5 days, so just relax and try to act as you always have. If you want to hold his hand I would wait until you guys are alone and not around his friends, in case it is embarrassing for him. My first boyfriend just sort of grabbed my hand one evening when we were watching TV, which was cute but a little freaky. Just be honest and take it slow.

Yeah make a move hes probably more scared of loosing you then you are him as you can always accuse him of being a perve and dump him especailly if your best mate.
Get him on his own as he does not want his mates to take the micky at first... (even if you are hot) when he gets relaxed with you he will cop aff and make them jealous.
Go to the cinema and put arms around each other ... even if you first and snuggle up into thim (he may try and 'accidently ' reach tofar and feel your boob. Let him and see it as a cue to kiss him and start making out.
As you get used to touching and kissing your problem will dissapear as you will want to touch all the time.
Also be naughty and playful... ice down his back so he has to chase you and get you back. Tickling him.
He will be terribly embarrased if he gets a stiffie with you. Go emmn someones happy to be kissing me and kiss him some more... Show you think its cool.

A few tips about guys...Shy barely describes the depth of the fear guys feel with their first GF. He is worried about being pickled on by his friends, being too forward with you and worse being bad at everything he tries to do. Help him by being understanding, compassionate and fun. joke with him, make the first move, respect his boundaries and expect him to respect yours. encourage him when he does something you like and tell him when he tries something and you would like it better if he did it a little different (nothing worse than choking on a tongue cause the other doesn't know how to kiss).
