For example, I live in a home where I have an open floor plan. I can't count the number of times my friend expressed her feeling about how she hates an open floor plan. I put in a swimming pool, (above the ground) and she said she would NEVER put in a pool. Two years later she put in a built in pool. I drive a benz, she told me her father HATES European cars and that Toyota and Honda are much better. I don't get it. I do not brag about anything I have, yet no matter what I have, she puts it down. Any advice to me?

I have been single for two years now and am now wanting to not be alone anymore and to share my life with someone other than me. I am a very sincere kind of person and had recently met a man on a dating site who seemed to be pretty certain of himself and was looking for a relationship with a woman after recently being seperated.

His profile interested me more than anyone else's and because he appeared honest and up-front about himself. We have only met twice since boxing day and so I am hardly getting to know him the way I ought to be and because we both live some distance away from each other. He has been divorced twice and has two teenage sons he continually has problems with and an ex wife he still seems to be angry with for one thing or another.

I am not sure if I have gotten myself into something I am happy with and mainly because he only seems to want to jump straight into bed with me when he does see me and does not want to talk about things or get to know me.

i'm not promiscuous or anything but i've had my share. not that much though. anyway... i like foreplay. in fact i like it more than the act itself. i like the kissing, the fondling, but when it comes to the end, i lose it. i mean there's nothing...i don't feel anything. i haven't had a real orgasm. what is wrong with me?

I haven't talked to one of my best friends in over a year. He is a guy and I am a girl, and we have been friends at least 15 years (we met in junior high). He got married about 3 years ago. I was the best "man" in his wedding. The person he married was recently divorced with 3 children. She can be very nice, and I have always gotten along with her. However, she is a storyteller. She out and out makes up lies about all his friends and he believes them. He no longer talks to any of his friends or most of his family because of all the lies she has told. She does not work at all, everytime she gets a job she tells him guys are hitting on her, and he tells her to quit (no guys hit on her). If you try to call him, even on his cell phone she is the one that calls you back, not him. I really want to talk to my friend, but I can't even get a hold of him. What would you do? My husband says just forget about him, we can't deal with her dramas.

Before my wife and I get busy, I like to have a couple of drinks. To me it makes sex more intense and inhibitions are lower. Of course, like most women my wife takes everything personal. She thinks I have to drink so that I can make myself have sex with her. That is not the case at all. It is so far from the truth. So my question is, does anyone else's husbands like to have sex while moderately intoxicated? Do you? I personally think there is no other way. What say you drunken married women?

My daughter is 18 and a senior in HS. She is constantly on the go and I am worried that she is wearing herself out. She keeps a gpa of 3.5, is a cheerleader, volunteers at the hospital, works 20 to 28 hrs a week and refuses to tell her employer to cut back on her hours despite what I tell her. She doesnt have much time for herself and her room is always a mess. Its like a catch 22 here because what she is doing is being constructive and she never gets into trouble or skips school, but on the other hand I think she is trying to do way too much then what she can handle and it will all catch up to her. Shes been sick alot lately with sore throats, flus and colds and I told her its because she wont take a break and give herself some leisure time and she refuses to call in sick. I have always encouraged her to be independant but where do you draw the line when she appears to be exhausted and a little unhappy lately. Would you step up, or since she is 18, let her make her own decisions.

As girls, my friends and I plan things, outings, visits, girl's nights out, etc... My boyfriends' friends never plan anything. All their things are very impromptu, proposed the day before at best. Because I want to give him his guy time, I'm usually supportive of this and have given up COUNTLESS plans with him in the past just because the guys decided to hang. The thing is, I think he's taking this for granted. He came back from a long trip and we haven't done anything special. His buddies have been whisking him off to hang out for the past few days, and I've only gotten moments with him. Basically, he knows that if he comes and tells me "sorry about this, but the guys wanna watch a fball game tonight", he KNOWS that I would let him, just because I want to be supportive. I don't want to break up with him at all, and I know he doesn't either. He's just oblivious to the fact that I am basically getting stood up! How can I make him understand? We've talked but it's not getting through.

I asked this girl out for coffee yesterday, as i was quite sure she was also interested in me. She said yes, but today when we were going to organise a date, she said she had a problem and that there was someone else and if i had asked 2 weeks ago she would have deffinately said yes.

I talked to her best friend before i asked and he said she had been waiting for me to make a move for quite a while. And that she had been holding off with this guy incase i asked her out.

Im positive she is still interested in me as an option, so what do i do?

What i want to do is hang out with her as friends, still grab the coffee, but not in date mode. Should i ask her again, and say just as friends.

Also should i even continue to flirt, now she knows i am actually wanting to date her aswell, she may rethink everything (yes i realise thats very selfish of me), Is it bad to say to her, that i was a fool for waiting so long, and that i will still fight for her, if it wont make her awkward?

i've been married to my husband for 2 1/2 years...been at home with our son for most of our marriage. we've never ha da great marriage, we fight alot b/c i feel he doesn't put his family first. i'm trying to get us out of debt and save up for a house...but he goes out to the bar with his buddies, or goes to fast food places on lunchbreak even though i pack him a lunch.
i'm taking online courses to become a medical transcriptionist...which will allow me to work at home.

is it ethical to plan on saving up my own money and presenting the ultimatum (sp?) to my husband that he needs to straighten up and fly right, and be the husband and father that he's supposed to be or he can hit the bricks...b/c i don't need his financial support anymore...? or should i be the "good little wife" and stick it out our marriage no matter what?

I have lots of friends that have sex with different guys every weekend... I have had sex twice and it makes me feel like a whore because they tell all thier friends... It makes me feel like my stomach is going to come up. Why do girls like to have sex with guys that do that? And no offense but that is what most of them do. Even the one guy that I thought would never do this to me did... Why? Its so fustrating to me that my girlfriends go out and have sex all the time and never think twice, but it gets to me...

Following the breakup of my engagement I have been having a tough time dealing with the hows, whats and whys. Along with the hurts, loneliness and sadness the not knowing what really happened or what she is thinking or has been thinking for a while is leaving me more and more depressed each day. I feel that she has had plenty of time to think through things along with all the clarity in the world that I have provided for her but I have not been given the luxury of information or details or such to find closure. She did not go into details about her reasons, she shut herself off and became cold and non-communicative and I understand that she was in self protection mode but this did not help me at all as it left me hanging. My heart is hurting right now...what do you think? Should I call her, email her, wait, not do anything, gut it out?
