whats it mean when a guy asked my bestfriend if i liked him! and then he said i just wanna know what shes gunna say so tell her i like her! and then i thought he was just messing with me so i was like omg why do you keep tell her to tell me all this crap! and then he went back to her and said omg why did you tell kali that it was just a joke! and then he started ignoring me for a couple days but hes starting to try to talk to me again! and hes been trying to bump into me on purpose but i dont look at him i just walk right pass him! what does this mean does he really like me or was it really just a joke?

I think the guy did actually like you but didnt know if you liked him. I suppose he was to shy or afraid of your response if he went to you directly, so he was trying to get an idea from your friend. A lot of guys do this when they are too nervous to ask out a girl, mostly due to fear of rejection. Of course if the girl they like finds out they were trying to this (like you did), it may cause the guy to shy away even more or become defensive (i.e. claiming it was all a joke). I don't see why this would be an actual joke because it doesn't sound like one, and who would joke about like that, its just wierd.
So what you can do is confront him about it. If you like him then tell him because thats what he was trying to find out in the first place. If you don't like him just let him down easy. If he keeps ignoring you and acts like a child, then just forget about him and move on, he's not worth it.

It was not originally a joke but after your reaction, he said it was a joke. This is called "save face". You humiliated him. He's now going to "accidentally" run into you until YOU tell HIM that you like him. Games... it kills me. I'm awfully glad I'm too old for this crap anymore! lol

He likes you but only if you like him first. and if you are willing to play these Little three party word games and acting shocked and busy after he strategically runs into you well you must like him. So it means hes making you the one after him. he started it all right? all very cute.
