Before my wife and I get busy, I like to have a couple of drinks. To me it makes sex more intense and inhibitions are lower. Of course, like most women my wife takes everything personal. She thinks I have to drink so that I can make myself have sex with her. That is not the case at all. It is so far from the truth. So my question is, does anyone else's husbands like to have sex while moderately intoxicated? Do you? I personally think there is no other way. What say you drunken married women?

Sofa king, you sweet talker you! Most men are a little "uptight" about showing their feelings when sober, so if you have to have a little "liquid lubricant" explain this to your wife, and let her know that she is so desirealbe. Women are funny creatures, we EXPECT you to know what we are thinking and get pissed if you dont KNOW what is in our heads! That is why talking is so important! Find a drink that she likes, maybe a good sweet wine cooler, or maybe a shot of some good concoctions, I like shots of slippery nipple and apple pie shots! They are a good start!
As for getting her in the mood, or yourself, it starts way before the bedroom, the way you send each other off to work, the way you talk to eachother, the way you touch eachother through out the day....these little things can lead to a wonderful evening in the sackeroo.....think outside of the box...no pun intended!

Well, I am divorced, but was married for 11 years so I think I have enough "marriage" experience to answer this one. First of all, women think more into things than men, so It is very normal for her to think this if you want to drink every time before sex. Just make sure that you don't want to every time since she is feeling this way. I agree that your inhibitions are lowered, but when you have been married for a while and comfortable with that person, there should be no inhibitions there anyway. So, at least some of the time, take the time to make love to her and not worry about any inhibitions being there or not. Then when you want the little bit wilder side of her she will feel more secure in your reasoning behind drinking...good luck and have fun.....

I would probably take it personally as well, however, you are right, sex is better when slighly intoxicated. I find it takes all self esteem issues away and allows you to be "free" in the bedroom (or whereever...lol)

Maybe you can start having sex without the alcohol for a while to show her that you can.

Also, to take her mind off it, set up romatic evenings where you cook supper (or order in, whatever) and have a bottle of wine, etc. Then, you get your couple drinks, and she gets to feel loved.
It's a win win situation...

Good luck :)

Sex isn't the same when the guy is intoxicated (even moderately). He's sloppy and less attentive. Plus anything that he says to you, doesn't seem genuine because you feel that he's just saying it because he's drunk. I think this is a bad and unhealthy habit. Also, I think it is insensitive not to consider how the wife feels about it. Women crave intimacy, not just sex and if your drunk every time you get intimate, well that's just not fair. You are headed down a road of disaster.

I am a woman but I think that it is true what you say, If you can get her, without her knowing why of course, to have a couple of drinks first maybe she will see what you are talking about. I know in the past when this has happened it was great.

Try having sex with her a few times without drinking to show her that you don't need to drink before. Then if you still feel the need to have a drink or two before, invite her to have a drink or two with you.

If you find you can't have sex without the drinks, then maybe she was right. You may have a drinking problem too. I don't mean to be judgmental, just trying to offer some advice.

Maybe it's the smell - alcohol breath is gross and I wouldn't want to "get busy" if you smelled like that every time.

YES - sometimes a few drinks is OK - relaxing - less inhibiting - but not all the time. Take her feelings into account instead of just blowing her off.

hi! if u drink always before sex , there must be a reason , something inside of u who might hurt u ? maybe u even dont realise it , but usually when we drink before to do something , it means there is a problem somwhere but not necessary about ur wife , it can be ur job, or something else u dont like in ur life , so u drink to forget it .try to talk more with ur wife about it and tell her to help u , i m sure if u love each others , that she will like ur proposition . so do it together , its will be great .good luck

theres nothing wrong with a few drinks ...like you said it makes it more intense. personally as a woman i like to have sex with my bf after he has been drinking because hes the same way and it is so exciting...we try new things. have you asked your wife to have a few drinks with you?? maybe if she did she would see what your trying to tell her and maybe even she would enjoy it more. tell her from a womans point of view it has nothing to do with her its all about the hormones and excitement

No. I want to feel every bit of it. Alcohol has a numbing effect.
We have been married for almost 30 years and I still don't need
a damn thing to get me in the mood except my husband.
