Following the breakup of my engagement I have been having a tough time dealing with the hows, whats and whys. Along with the hurts, loneliness and sadness the not knowing what really happened or what she is thinking or has been thinking for a while is leaving me more and more depressed each day. I feel that she has had plenty of time to think through things along with all the clarity in the world that I have provided for her but I have not been given the luxury of information or details or such to find closure. She did not go into details about her reasons, she shut herself off and became cold and non-communicative and I understand that she was in self protection mode but this did not help me at all as it left me hanging. My heart is hurting right now...what do you think? Should I call her, email her, wait, not do anything, gut it out?

Closure i think is one of the hardest things to deal with. I feel your pain totally. I so wish i had the answer to this myself. It depends on if you can handle the pain of it coming from her or if she even knows the anwer herself. A face to face, a mediator? I think when me and my husband soon to be Ex go threw this if it happens I would prefer being tied in a chair w/ a gag ball in my mouth so i can listen w/ out getting upset. Then left alone in a room for that final break down. Sorry for your pain hopefully it doenst last to long.
