Amy and I have set a date for this weekend. My sister is going to watch our son. Amy even went out and bought a sexy dress for this date. I had plans to take her to dinner and a movie. Alright, heres the deal. I met this girl at this store, actually she was the employee. I asked her if she wanted to get something to eat, she was like, I have something going on after work. She offered her number, and said that she would look forward to my call. I call her back, get her voicemail, and leave a message. I was just like" wondering if you want to get together sometime" I also left my number. Its been like a day or two and I haven't gotten a call back. Should I try to call her back again? I don't want to seem like some stalker or desperate. She seemed REALLY nice and really hot! I don't know if she was just playin me or what. I mean, she offered HER number! Is it rude when ur on the phone with someone, then someone else calls you (someone was calling me to tell me about some babysitting jobs available) for 3minutes, and the person waiting hangs up on you. And then when u call the 1st person back they think its entirely rude that they were left waiting on the phone for 2-3minutes?

Is that really rude or is person just paranoid?

and wants me to tag along, even if I say I can do something else...he says he wants me to be with him, I just don't get the vibe I once got from him. The only time a friend of mine calls me is when she needs a baby-sitter for her one-year-old son. She's 21, lives with her sister because she got kicked out of her parents' house for getting pregnant by a black guy (as a matter of clarification, I don't agree with that), the baby's-daddy never comes around, and she constantly wants to go get drunk. I'm 20, live with my 22-year-old boyfriend, and have my own responsibilities. This is how every conversation goes:
Me: "Hello?"
Her: "Hey!"
Me: "Hey! What's up?"
Her: "You gotta work tomorrow?"
Me: "Yeah, 8:30-5:00, Monday thru Friday. As always. Why?"
Her: "Well, can you take off? Cause I need a baby-sitter for Marques."
Me: "Sorry, no. Just started that job in December, remember?"
Her: "Well, I need a baby-sitter"
I don't say much after that. She usually just says "Fine" and hangs up when she gets the hint. I'm never invited out, just to babysit. What should I tell her? I don't like getting rude with people but this is ridiculous!

My sister wants to come down in for Febuary Vacation to see my baby (I'm due in 5 days). However I have a few issues with this and I tried to polietly tell her that we would rather she didn't come down because it's going to be busy and I'd rather she wait till I came home in May, to see the baby.

However she continues to insist and I don't know what to do. My reasons for not wanting her to come down are simple.

1. She waited until after the fact to let people know that she or the girls are sick. At Thanksgiving she waited two days to tell me she and my nieces had strep throat...which I ended up with. Then She waited until AFTER my babyshower to tell me that my niece had scarlet fever. So everyone was exposed at my shower.
I do not want to risk the chance of my child getting sick.

2.We have no room here. Honestly this is a really small apartment and I know she can't afford to rent a hotel room.

Okay I have this friend we made a deal that if we didn't have any dates for prom then we would go together because we are best friends. Then he calls me and asks me if I would get mad if he took his other friend. She's in the tenth grade whereas we are in the eleventh. Well this friend is constantly hurting me. He says he doesn't like me because I am big yet he decides to date a big gothic chick who doesn't even fix herself up. Well he told me that when they broke up that he would give us a shot. Okay, I got a goal set on myself. I want to loose 30 pounds by July 12th. That's a pound a week for the next 7 months. Can I do this by eating 3 small meals a day, 3 snacks, drinking lots of water, and cutting out tea? Oh, and exercising? Any other ideas?

My Boyfriend is abusive to me he has ahistory of unemployment, he is controlling, he beats me physically & emotionally. he makes me feel bad about myself, he has forced sex on me, he as been charged with rape before but was found not guilty. He is so agressive yet he claims he loves me, he has days where he is just flat out mean & rude anything triggers him if I dont move fast enough he will bend my fingers. he never gotten me any gifts he has a lot of negative comments ( then he says he is just joking) about me...last night I got it really bad over nothing in my opinion, he overreacted as usual, noe he says we can go to counceling he wants to work it out. What type of counseling does he need? How can he change? he says he feels bad about beating me because it was not right. How can a person change how can I help him become a better person?
