Recently after attending a 12 step meeting and identifying myself as an alcoholic/addict, I called someone from the meeting and during the conversation I said perhaps then that is not what I am, and thinking about it perhaps I need to attend another type of meeting. For me it seems like I almost always get into relationships in which I am the caretaker, rescuer, or enabler. In our area we do not have many 12 step meetings except for AA, NA and Al-Anon. So I do not know which of these meetings that I belong to or should go to or perhaps none of these and another one is more appropriate. If I am not an AA, NA or addict then do i need to go back and make ammends to these people for making the comment that I am?

I've promised 200$ to give to my girlfriend. She keep on asking me the money so much I ask what's so urgent ? She get mad for that and asked me if she was asking me money all the time what would I do. I've answered honestly and told her that I'll break up with her because I couldn't keep up. She gets more angry. I tried to call to ask if she's mad because I didn't give her the money. She Told me no she's not mad because I'm not the only one she can ask for 200$. The tiaras in the bridal shop are hundreds of pounds and I don't have that much to spend. I would have thought they would be less than £30 and was shocked when I saw how much they were. 11 months ago we ran into eachother and hit it off.I was still bitter about catching my ex of a few years cheating,he listened and understood(they r mutual friends)he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was such a gentman,things were awkward when he left the next morning,a mutual freind told me he liked me but was freaked about my ex(who was trying to get me back)i saw him again 2 months later,he came to me and said"your killing me"my ex was also there and upset that we liked eachother.I sent him a text a couple weeks after and he never replied.I saw him again at a party 6 months later he walked in saw me and looked away quick.

OK so when i was younger my ex boyfriend (we were together at the time) took advantage so to speak of me and i did not say anything to anyone in fear that no one would believe me or call me a tramp.... My boyfriend now knows what happend and has stuck with me through some pretty tough times... he feels like since i have been his only and technically i have had 2 (1 not by choice) that i should allow another girl in our bed and be ok with it JUST once. with me there and not neccesarly haveing sex but still.
