I have a tendency to treat my man with the upmost respect, a lot of love and affection, and I try to make sure that he has whatever he needsand wants. But the two men that I called myself in love with act like they didnt appreciate the goodness I gave to them. I mean I will go all out for my man, and I never cheat. But these two fools thought I was just a fool and they could get over on me, but honestly, I was trying to treat them like kings...WHY??

Men (and some women too) don't realize the troubles that their partners go to for them. When a man comes home from work and finds that his wife has cooked a special dinner for him, he might appreciate how tasty it is, but he might not stop to think of every step it took to make the dinner possible (planning, grocery shopping, preparation, cooking, cleaning, etc.)
Even men who normally treat their women with respect will still do this from time to time as people have a way of getting used to the good treatment they get from people.
But I think you can tell from a man whether affection and respect will not ever be given no matter what you do. And if you have a man like that, then you know what to do with him!

Maybe it was just those 2 guys that didnt appreciate that. Some men and women think people owe them something. Those men probably thought that they were entitled to be treated like that. Next time, when the next man starts acting up- stop catering to him. He'll get the picture.

In my own experience, they do appreciate a good woman but they don't show it the way the woman would like for them to. You and he are two different people and you both have different ways of expressing yourselves.
Sit down and talk to him and work it out.
