signs of not being interest?

she says she is hungry and i ask her if she wants to walk down to the town 20 mins down the road..
she replies "i cant be bothered"
(tho possibly it was cold or she didnt have time)

she is about to leave class so i leave with her and try to walk her down the street to her mums car and as she is leaving she sorta just walks off dead fast like storming off so i cant keep up. tho she could be angry with me maybe? or just trying to get away from me?

stares at me or looks over at me, she was definately looking.
she used to smile across at me too. and make effort to talk to me when we were alone.

when im not about or around she asks my friend where i am or personal things like where is he from (that being me). but never asks me the question when im in.


is she the most confusing girl or what? lol.

Upon reflection, this person I thought I was becoming friends with has been kind and friendly to me but she does not seem to have any serious friendships. Her "best friend" is an old teacher that she doesn't even talk to anymore. She also refers to everyone (even people she doesn't talk to) as a "friend." She and I spent a lot of time talking this summer and I remember she said she likes doing things by herself. She's gone out of her way to express interest in me, but at other times she won't even ackowledge my existence. I wonder if she just doesn't WANT to get close to anyone. Has anyone tried to befriend someone who seemed to not have/want friends? Was this person bad news to get involved with? I'm pretty shy myself and don't know if I have the energy to befriend someone if they aren't worth my time, but at the same time, we have lots in common and I think we could be close friends. Feedback please!

Here's the thing: Well I like this kid.. he doesn't go to my school; he's a grade older, but he's in the same district as me. I know him because he's my uncles bestfriends son, &in the summer my uncle goes camping &his bestfriend goes &brings his family too.. anyway I fell for him in the summer. The thing is I've barely talked to him. There's just something about him I fell for, &I still months later don't know what it is... anyway; he knew that I liked him but he's REALLY shy.. &I don't know after summer ended I just felt like I needed to get somewhere with him ¬ throw away my feelings. My sister goes to his school &gave him a note that told him I like him. It said to reply because I didn't know about it.. &he didn't. I can't move on.. Why didn't he reply? My mother is 65 and lives with me. She is capable of taking care of herself but she is dying a slow painful death. (http://www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/ipf.htm if your interested) She abuses her medications. She is disgusting. She smokes in my house even though I ask her not to. She will not take care of herself. She crapped all over my couch today and did a poor job of cleaning it up. It smells and she stained my couch. If I try to talk to her she cries or yells and screams and plays the "I'm dying!" drama. I am meeting a guy for the first time in Omaha, Nebraska this weekend. I live in Lincoln & he lives just over the border in Iowa, Omaha is 1/2way so thats why we picked there. The two rarely see each other...so rarely that the step brother didn't know that he was no longer with a fiance that he had dated a year ago. Normaly I wouldn't think of it but they have only been step brothers (so no blood relation) for a few years. I do feel awkward but I am not sure if it is because of the technicality of if I actually have something to feel guilty about. My husband is deployed on a ship and every so often (throughout our marriage also) he just doesn't contact me for any reason. He's done it several times in the past, but it's never been work-related. They hit port a while back and all the other wives were thrilled with phone calls; I got none. Now it's happened again with the same scenario. Our 7 year marriage has been great and we get along wonderfully, so I'm kind of confused why he does this. He knows it's not cool and he's smart; so why? I mean, is it JUST a guy thing to be like "duh" sometimes? We're close and we do things apart when he's home, so this isn't a clingy-wife thing. I just get nervous because of where he's deployed to now.
