I'm intelligent, fit, well educated, well read... I care about my family and people in general. I'm responsible, extremely loyal, and even handed. I'm reasonable, logical, but I'm a feeling and caring person. I'm not afraid to talk about how I feel about everything because it doesn't make me feel vulnerable. I'm not good with tact and I tend to tell people exactly, bluntly, and honestly what they want to know... sometimes at my own expense. I have an excellent job with a good future. I carried the dreams of my youth and never became cynical about them, I realize that they are idealistic, but I still plan to carry them through. I'm the friend you only read about in books and see in movies that's there for you no matter what and the partner that is always faithful and solid as an anchor in your life. I have enough love to drown you in it and enough knowledge for any conversation and more patience and calmness then the mountain. As a woman would you want to get to know me better?

There is this guy, we met online,anyway he stood by me through a very difficult time, for 2 years, but we couldn't really see each other
anyway I came home 3 months ago, we have been going out some,good friends,lot of sex, but he cares about another girl too.
Anyway, he took me out friday and bought me a christmas present.
He told me the sex had to stop but we could go out and if I got in a relationship we would deal with it then. What does that mean.?

This guy is a total rockstar in the sack! From the get-go, he has pushed every button perfectly. He's even done the deeds while I was menstruating, like it's no big thing to mess up his bed sheets. Lol.

I am pleased with what I got, but I'm starting to hear things from other girls about how "dirty" he is....

I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug, and I respect her so I don't. even though I am a more touchy kind of guy. and I mean with everybody I always love hugs any time from most anyone.SO WHAT SHOULD i DO TO GROW CLOSTER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP. and I want mature answers, and please do not mention sex I am saving that for marraige.

Guys, this is simple: Why would you (general male species) reappear in a woman's life, if you aren't willing to change or treat her differently then you had before?
This guy who I had been seeing for a while, couldn't give me the time or attention I needed. We parted ways. After a couple of months---he pops back up, but is still the same UNATTENTIVE moron. I just don't get it. Why, play yourself like that. If you weren't ready to change, then why come back? Is it a way to just see if you can still get the girl, or is the woman herself just too needy or impatient. I tried my damnest to be considerate of his 'line of work' in knowing he couldn't be with me all the time---but he couldn't even pacify me by calling once a day, let alone taking me out atleast, ONCE during the week. I mean, relaistically---HOW long or MUCH does a guy really think a woman will put up with and do men ever come around. Because this guy is a supposed man of age 35!!! so we're not talking children here????!!!

The guy (43) chose the career path after the military in hopes he'd find a wife somewhere along the way... women he'd been with cheated.. he took time to figure himself out and what he wanted and focused on work. now owns a house and has a good stable job and wants a family.they both agree on many things, life, children, relationships, love, have some of the same friends... The girl is friends with his mother and two brothers, helped move him into his home and set up/organize it. Before my husband and I got married he seemed to be organized, clean, and generally had a handle on things. Now it's like he expects me to do it all. And if I ask for help he procrastinates until I do it. Now he says I am being controlling because I asked him to do the dishes after dinner while I did laundry. To top it off he had 3 kids, I have 2...so we have a lot of household chores due to the large family. I have lupus, I work full time, I just don't know what to do about his attitude, he is so un-nurturing and un-helpful.

I'm a senior in high school and about halfway through the year and about 5 months from being done with high school entirely. At the beginning of the year I decided that I was going to try to make some new friends, especially since I had been really unsociable the year before. Then I got invited to work on a project in the beginning of the year with some people of the group I was trying to get in with and I was so excited and they really seemed to like me and I was optimistic about it. But the thing is I was too shy to take it much further and I feel like I failed, basically blew my chances. And now I feel like no one likes me anymore and they just don't care. I honestly think it's too late. Part of it is pride and part of it is being realistic So what I'm deciding to do is just keep to myself for the rest of the year and stop trying to make friends. I mean I'm not going to suddenly be an a hole and not say anything but you know just sit by myself and not try to talk and mingle as much. My failures have made me depressed and I think that maybe if I just tell myself "it's over, stop trying" maybe I can be more at peace. And besides I'm so depressed half the time I can't even make myself feel i want to have friends any more and I just want to be left alone. And I don't mind being alone either. And besides, it's only 5 months. I mean I know I'll probably regret it but I already regret it so I don't see what difference it makes anymore. Do you agree that thats what I should do?

I've known him for over a year, but we just started talking in the fall.

We're pretty close now, and I feel like we have a connection that is deeper than friendship.

I've had feelings for him for quite some time now, but I dont know if he feels the same way. My friends think so, but I'm not so sure.

When we're together:

-we playfully kick each others chairs, throw papers at each other, etc at work
-our eyes meet, and we'll hold the gaze for a period of time, then smile and look away
-we sit close to each other
-hug each other goodbye

When we hand things to each other, the touch lingers for awhile, before either of us pull away. We talk online everynight, or else we both think it's been such a long time since we've talked. He starts the conversations.

He always drives me, even if it's out of his way. He always drops me off last, so we're alone. Last night, as I hugged him goodbye, he kissed my cheek. I dont know if he likes me or not.
