Guys, this is simple: Why would you (general male species) reappear in a woman's life, if you aren't willing to change or treat her differently then you had before?
This guy who I had been seeing for a while, couldn't give me the time or attention I needed. We parted ways. After a couple of months---he pops back up, but is still the same UNATTENTIVE moron. I just don't get it. Why, play yourself like that. If you weren't ready to change, then why come back? Is it a way to just see if you can still get the girl, or is the woman herself just too needy or impatient. I tried my damnest to be considerate of his 'line of work' in knowing he couldn't be with me all the time---but he couldn't even pacify me by calling once a day, let alone taking me out atleast, ONCE during the week. I mean, relaistically---HOW long or MUCH does a guy really think a woman will put up with and do men ever come around. Because this guy is a supposed man of age 35!!! so we're not talking children here????!!!

My friend had the same problem. For my friend, I think the guy was just back because my friend didn't set many physical limits, so he got to do what he wanted. Make sure to set those limits where you feel comfortable because if a guy doesn't respect you, the relationship won't work. He's not worth your time.

According to manlaw, a man assumes that time stands still for his "ex" upon termination of their relationship.

Though such an assumption is selfish and NOT consistent with reality, it is part of a man's genetic make-up.

Manlaw also declares that since women rarely follow manlaw but their heart instead, they will generally acquiesce to rekindling an old relationship with their "ex" even if it is a detrimental one.

Women tend to fancy that which is familiar (even when it is unreliable) and have difficulty "moving on". This gives men a competitive advantage in relationships.

Women only validate the veracity of this assumption when they take us back JUST AS WE ARE.

A guy will leave a girl for one that he thinks is better at the time. When she leaves him, he'll return to the girl he had before because he knows he can get her and she'll always be there when he needs her. Even if it's less than once a week.

Sweetheart, you are overreacting. Cupcakes, this man is checking up with you to see if you are still "open" for business. He is testis ting the waters to see if he can sail. Maybe he is not having such luck in his other endeavors. Honey, move on from this loser and get a man whom treasures you like you are.

guys are stupid... that's the easy answer... the harder one is, if you let him come back, then that's why he comes back... but as for him coming back the 'same' as before, maybe he doesn't "see" what he's doing 'wrong' maybe talking to him, and actually telling him everything he does, (kinda mean, but it would get your point across) and if he stays the same, then he's not meant for you... and just move on....

If he doesnt change, he doesnt really wanna work things out with you. But if you really really want him back, play really really hard to get otherwise he wouldnt cherish you since you are so easy.

We would try to get what we had before, and if you won't say 'no', then we win.
