as long as it's not black silk boxers.
if there are ones with super heroes on them, they are the best. i am 23 and still wear them. girls die from giggling when i bust out my dr. octopus undies.

Buying a boy underwear is pretty much the same as saying "we've had sex".
At the very least it implies you've either SEEN his underwear, and therefore KNOW that he needs new ones, or that you WANT to see him in the underwear you are providing. Neither of which is an appropriate message for a 15 year old to send to another.
I can PROMISE you that he will suffer humiliation and embarrassment from his family and guy friends if you give him underwear. HIs mom may become agitated or upset and could contact your parents with her suspicions...
Get him a concert T shirt, a new wallet, a gift certificate to a record store, or tickets to a movie or other entertainment venue.

I think boxers are for someone you are going out with or who you have been intimate with. I would do the sports thing (hat, t-shirt or cup) of his favorite team. I heard guys like food gifts (pistachios, candy or something). Maybe some cologne gift set you can find those everywhere.

make a joke out of it....like maybe you should buy the boxers and decorate them in some unique way so that whenever he sees something like it...he'll think of you.....
for instance you could buy regular boxers and decorate them with stars and wright some line like " the stars say that you are on fire" something catchy that lets him know he's thought of but also gives the gift a twist that brings you into it...maybe the next time he sees stars he'll think of you .....

i got my 16 boyfriend boxers and he loved them and actually wore them today. he didnt tell his mom i dont think so it wasnt weird. if your not going out its kinda risky, but it depends on your relationship. i also got my bf a stuffed bear and we named it together and it was really cute so anything simple would probably work for you too

I'd get him boxers. If it's a pair of silly boxers or something crazy, yeah.
Get him a strange hat or cheap wal-mart t-shirt with something weirdly amusing on it.

boxers are ok as long as they dont have little kisses and stuff on them. A real safe gift is toe socks.....everyone loves toe socks!!!!
