Its when you constantly get the butterflies in the stomach when you're around them and a constant feeling of excitement, so much so that you never want to spend a minute without them. Then when you are'nt with them you can't stop thinking about them and the excitement of being with them again is happily undescribeable. It's when you can put everything you've ever enjoyed most second and not feel a bit like you're missing anything because, given the choice, you would rather be with the person you are in love with. It almost becomes an addiction if you like, the more you feel it the more you want to spend time feeling it. You know when you're in love when you can write something like this off the top of your head, without thinking about it, and it's only when you read it back to yourself you think both where did that come from, did I write that, and yes thats definately my virsion of love. Now for an answer from someone that knows what he is talking about.
I dated a lot of girls prior to finding a girl I truly loved. I knew that I was in love with her for the following reasons:
1. I wanted to be with her all the time.
2. She felt the same about me (you cannot be in love alone--it is impossible)
3. I thought of her interests far over my own. If I was cutting a piece of pie for her and me and one piece broke up into pieces, I always took that piece so she would have to have the broken one. I always offered the first bite of my salad when we ate out. I opened the car door for her (not when it was moving of course) and always stood up when she entered the room
4. I always felt the need to protect her from any harm. When walking down the street if I noticed some low lifes walking towards I ALWAYS placed me between her and any possible danger.
5. I always called and talked to her during the day (I still do after 27 years of marriage.)
6. I loved going with her ANYWHERE. I even went shopping for craft garbage she liked. I once spent two hours pricing Styrofoam doll torsos and never batted an eye since I was with someone I loved.
7. I never tried to pressure her to do things she didn't want to do or didn't feel comfortable with and she was the same with me. If a guy is pressuring you to have sex against your will, trust me, he doesn't love you at all. He just wants to have sex with you, then he will dump you after he tires of you. A person in love never pressures their friend to do something they don't want.

great question! im 20 right now.. and one girl changed the entire way i see the world... When i pictured my self living with her in the same house with a bunch of babies, everything made sense.. Everything fits in. She loves me and i love her!!. Just know that if your a girl that is in love with some guy, do not and i repeat... do not have sex with him until you both are engaged.... If he loves you he will stay with you all the way.. If you think you need to provide him sex for him to stick around.. he's not gonna marry you, Thus he sure as hell does'nt love ya!!

You know you are in love when you see the other person in every step in your live. When you put that girl ahead of your self and only want her happiness. YOu know you are in love when the thought of losing her makes you want to die. when you see old people who are stil together and see your self and your girl in the future and can't wait to spend the rest of your live with her. When all you want is the best for her and it makes you angry when you can't give it to her. Unfortunatly some girls don't know how to appreciate these feelings.

When you realize that it's more than just having someone to cling too. Or someone to have sex with. You know, when you hurt when they hurt. You are happy when they are happy. They are your partner on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. And you know that you would sacrifice everything you have for them without thinking about it. That's when you know it's love.

it's a feeling of never wanting to be without them and hating every moment that you're apart form them and wishing you were always with them.
I'm happy to say that i'm in love, i'm not afraid to admit that i'm wrapped round her finger, cos in the end.. you love her and want to do anything to make her happy..

your whole world stops.. she becomes teh object of your desire...and personally, 26 years later, nothing has changed...
you know, without knowing, you realise only with hindsight what has always been in front of your nose... and you know she waaits upstairs for your presence beside her.
it happens. youve just got to be in teh right palce at the right time... and anyway, who's deluding who, its they who do they who do teh picking...were just happy to have been picked.
aint that the truth...

its been my experience that when you feel you cant function without your better half and nothing you do makes you feel complete then its a pretty damn good indication that you are in love.

I do not know, I have not been that stupid!!
Probably when you do things that make no sense just because you want to make her happy. Very short lived moment!!
