I'm on the varsity bowling team, and I'm the only freshman besides another kid. The other kid is basically my best friend on the team, and the rest of my friends always talk bad about him behind his back, saying "Oh no, ________ is here. He's so annoying, etc, etc." Same thing with another one of my friends who is a sophmore. I'm really good friends with the kids who are saying this behind his back. What do I do? I want to stick up for him and stuff, but I don't want to lose all of my other friends.

I know I have a brain. I have also the capacity to earn good money doing freelance work (e.g I can earn £800 in 5 days work). I want to start out again. I have zero confidence in myself as a person. I was thinking of going back to uni ....and doing another a course. I always loved art and writing. I am unsure really what to do though...as I am not on the property ladder either. Unsure if I should spend the next few yrs ....collecting money together to pay mortagage...if I work full time....within 5 yrs I think I could clear a £200K mortagage. But unsure if I need to forget this...and just rent and concentrate on my self esteem. My family expect me to be married but I feel I am not happy with me to be married yet. I know I am not happy cos I am obese and end up falling in love with MSN contacts. I also want to travel....but have no one to do it with.

i kinda want a solution but i want to kno if anyone also has had this problem. Ok ive been friends with this kid since kindegarten, everything was great until we went into highschool. My locker is right next to mine but he never says a word to me. If I ask him something they will always just be on word answers. On the way to school in the car and on the way home not one word. BUT then i will call him after school and we will talk for two hours, not just bullshitting, solid conversation. Then on the weekends he will come over and we will have a fun time talking and everthin. Then monday rolls around and there is 5 days of no talking. Since he doesnt really talk to me during skool i am afraid to ask him why he doesnt talk to me because he has a short temper and might lash out at me. hes friends with all the popular kids i dont talk to but he still has friends on the less popular side. Anyone ever had this problem?

My best friend came to viist for th efirst time since we got married over a year ago. h ecame over from scotland, to North Carolina for a week. My wife (wh i have been involved with for around 5 years) has said she has had a crush on him, which is fine, he kinda looks like Ewan McGregor so i didnt mind a crush, He alwasy says he considered her a new great friend. Well the week he was here....They i found out would be up at the night talking etc while i was asleep and i found out 2-3 nights in after some drinks, thus i said ok just keep it to talking, Didnt want to come between friendships and be a a**. Then i found out later on as i felt more and more insulated that they had kissed and hugged alot. this cut me but i again said OK.He left and they she was calling him daily while i was asleep. and after arguments andquestions over time i have found out, they 'love each other' they want each other and not me and they had sex together which kills me, He is like a brother, I'm not perfct

ok, first, plz dont think of me as a bad person. but there is this guy who ive had a HUGE crush on for 2 years. hes in 3 of my classes this year, and i cant get over him. but now, after a year, i finally have a boyfriend. i figured this would help me get my mind off of this other guy. but it did the exact opposite!! and to make matters worse, the other guy is actually talking straight to me and smiling at me and he'll look at me then quickly look away. i mean, what the heck am i s'posed to do? i dont want to break up with my bf, hes a great guy and doesnt deserve to be hurt, but i dont want to lie to him. I met this girl in highschool she sweet i talk to her all the time, she has a cute smile and is beatiful and n has a great personality but she is taken. Her boyfriend was with her about 2 months ago but he jus dumped her. That hurt me so bad because i could see how much that hurt her. Then this past weekend she hooked up with him again. This hurt me evn more. Im confused and not sure what to do. I wanna tell her my felings but i dont wanna ruin things, because she is my world but i havent told her. I told her that i care about her and that i will protect her under any circumstances but i told her as a friend. She loves the guy but knowin her boyfriend he will probablydump her,and if he dumps her she is gonna be so down and sad and i dont want that.

for example, yesterday we were both off work and slept in, I got up and when she got up at 8am, i said I thought she was going to sleep all day. She went off the deep end about me making a big deal of her sleeping in till 8am. A day or 2 from now she will see she overreacted to this. . . but I want her to see this up front

My boyfriend of 2 years likes to talk - but only about himself & usually meaningless things. I can't get him to talk about his feelings, our relationship, etc. He'll tell me EVERYTHING about himself from what he did that day, what he learned @ university, to what he made for supper. But he never talks about us or asks me questions like "how was your day?"

Example - On the same day he wrote his last final this semester, I had an ultrasound for some medical problems with my ovaries. I ask how his final went but not once has he asked how my appm't went.

What is a polite way to tell your bf that he talks to much about himself and he needs to also learn to listen, ask questions & inquire about my life?

okay so i see alot of questions posted by women asking am I fat, do guys like big eyes, why do guys like blonds, are my boobs big enough, etc etc. Are we all really this insecure? Men like women, as long as you take care of yourself and try to maintain your apperence. Of course guys have fetishes, for blonds, brunttes, asains, big boobs but this doesn't always effect who they date or fall in love with. Men am I right?

I just caught my wife out having an affair. We have been married for 10yrs and have 3 small children. When I first had a gut feeling I asked her to her face and she denied it and swore blind it was not true. I had to find out through my own investigation. Once I confronted her with the proof she begged for forgivness and said she would do anything to fix it. I found various emails from her to him saying she was with my for children and she hated coming home from work as she had to see me. At the time of catching her she was planning to see him again. She only spent one night with him but I feel more happened than she will admit to. I have found since that she has not been fully honest and I find it hard to move forward if there is still alot of doubt in my mind. I feel she wanted me at home for the kids sake and finacially and she wanted him for her other needs and was happy to continue it. Part of me wants to go do what she did so she sees how it feels. I am hurt and doubt her. Help
