Just say sorry when she yells and she will feel like a jerk when she realizes later what she did.

Look I am the same way....just something sets us off and well the husbands end up paying for it. I'm not saying that it is right, but that is the way it is. Maybe she just needs time to think about what she said and did. Some people have to sit back and look at the situation before they can say okay I'm wrong I made a misstake. I'm so like that. Hope this helps.

Perhaps one day she will own her own junk, but for now, don't count on it.
Also, point out to her the next time she does not over-react and how much better you feel when she doesn't. Mix that with a little sex the way she likes it or some other treat, and she might start seeing the fun in not over-reacting.
Remember, when she is over-reacting, she feels like crap too, but she is just dumping it all on you. Anything that helps her to not feel like crap will help the situation.

I think she was making a big deal out of it too. But face, she is a woman, we over react sometimes. If I were you I wouldn't try to make her see her faults, that will just make her even more upset. Let her calm down before you explain to her that she has a problem with overreacting sometimes.....

She feels like you think that she is lazy or sleeps all the time. That's why she overreacted to that comment. From a lady's point of view of course.

sometimes our comments are insensitive causing that person to get on the defensive. so watch your mouth, don't falt find, or comment with something that would make her feel less. maybe she felt guilty for sleeping in and maybe she was touchy that day, but the things u say do push her buttons, maybe she is a little sensitive, and u a bit insensitive.

She's a woman and we are crazy sometimes so are men. Take it in stride and know that next time you overreact she'll owe you one. It really doesn't help to point out your spouses weak points.

If I were you, the next time, let her sleep all day and keep your mouth shut. I know you were only kidding her but now you know, she doesn't want to be kidded about sleeping in. We all have things that irritate us.

when she overreacts just take a step back, throw your hands up in the air and say "well excuse me" and try not to make personal petty observations
