i kinda want a solution but i want to kno if anyone also has had this problem. Ok ive been friends with this kid since kindegarten, everything was great until we went into highschool. My locker is right next to mine but he never says a word to me. If I ask him something they will always just be on word answers. On the way to school in the car and on the way home not one word. BUT then i will call him after school and we will talk for two hours, not just bullshitting, solid conversation. Then on the weekends he will come over and we will have a fun time talking and everthin. Then monday rolls around and there is 5 days of no talking. Since he doesnt really talk to me during skool i am afraid to ask him why he doesnt talk to me because he has a short temper and might lash out at me. hes friends with all the popular kids i dont talk to but he still has friends on the less popular side. Anyone ever had this problem?

I haven't- sounds like he's going through some 'growing pains'- what you do depends on you. If you really value his 'outside-of-school' friendship, then continue as you are- be friendly and open. You could also try to branch out a bit and find some other friends who are a bit more genuine. If you have a good time together on the weekends, sounds like you have a pretty good friendship... just be patient with him.
Trust me on this- when you all get out of high school, so much changes and you might have a friend for life. We all do things we regret, especially when we're in high school.
