I've been dating this guy for nine months, now. We're happy; he's a year younger than me, and more recently, we've been seeing each other less and less due to school and all that good stuff. Last night, he went to some battle of the bands thing with me, except I was totally fixated on the bass player for one of the bands...We've talked before, and I've "crushed" on him before while I've had my boyfriend. I don't want to lose my boyfriend, becasuse I do love him, but I can't get that other guy outta my head! I'm really stuck, so, can anyone help me out?

I've opened my own business and it's in a public place...part of my job is to spend time chatting with customers and being hospitable to them. This sends very mixed messages to friends & family who think it's perfectly fine to drop by, whenever they please, expecting me to chat with them too. At first I didn't mind, but now I'm way too distracted when they are there. My SOLE focus needs to be on my customers & when I have NO customers, I want to keep busy with all the other tasks that need to be done or else I'll end up really stressed at the end of the day. Friends/Family observe me chatting with customers and think it's just one big "social session" without ANY awareness that customers are PART of my job---and idle "chit-chat" with family and friends is NOT part of my job! PLEASE tell me what to say--once and for all--so that people will start respecting my time & schedule! I've complained constantly about how busy I am, but no one seems to care

My girlfriend replys to text messges i send but now she doesn't send any herself. She use to but now after serveral dates she doesn't seem to text message me anymore or show much enthusiasim when replying.

My boyfriend is going through a lot of work stress right now. I offered to visit, but he just wanted to be alone. I let him know that I'm here to listen and will help him anyway that I can. I want to give him space to deal with the issue, but I feel like I should be doing more.

well last nite my friends we are 14 and i were high on sugar!!! and we were talking outside it was around midnight and this guy in black came out of no where and was walking down the sidewalk well i'm not sure if i did this rite my friends wanted to go to my house which was like rite there. well i ran away from house w/ my friends was that the rite choice cause i ranaway from the house and rite when i got up he gained speed cause just in case he was a child multater he would not know where i lived was that a good choice???

I know I'm old enough that I should know this one, but I don't. I'm 30 (w/kids) and I'm dating a guy who's also 30 (w/kids).
I've come to realize that I never learned how to date "the right way". I just jump in with both feet and move way too fast.
I want this time to be better, more healthy. So I would like to know what the "normal" relationship functions like.
*my last relationship lasted for 7 years, so I'm not completely ignorant, it's just the beginning steps I'm having trouble with.
I think I forgot what little I knew about dating since it's been so long.

Also, he and I live an hour apart, I don't really have a sitter, so going on dates is hard to work out, and we are both a little broke at the moment.
I guess what I'm looking for is basic time line guides.
He and I both completely adore one another, we're just having a hard time figuring out how to make it work with our current situations.
Sorry if this is confusing, but I'm confused, so I can't really be expected to make sense

I met this lady a year ago and she was very nice we used to conversate on our way to work. Sometimes she would come into my job and just talk about random stuff. Now I have this thing that I always say to my family and friends "Just wait and see I am going to be very rich someday". One day that lady came out the blue and said to be "you are going to be very rich someday, I'm telling you girl you just dont know yet". It kind of freaked me out a little. I don't know what she meant by that.

I lost my brother last year in a car accident. I found a lot of my cousins on myspace...should I throw a memory party for my brother in his honor on the second anniversary of his death or on Mardi Gras weekend b/c everybody will be there? Everyone wants to get together b/c we feel that we are getting older and now having our own kids and it's ashamed that we get to see each other once a year for Mardi Gras or if someone dies...He would've been 25 last Friday. I'm his oldest sister, I'm 29 with 2 boys and everybody has kids under 4. He also had a baby but never got to meet him b/c he was born in Sept last year and my brother died in March.
What are your suggestions?

I HAVE BEEN STAYING WITH MY COUSIN AND HER HUSBAND (AND OTHERES THAT COME AND GO) SINCE JUNE. I HAVE BEEN HELPING PACK AND MOVE . EVERYDAY I GO BEYOND NORMAL CLEANING AND WAITING ON THEM. NO ONE REALLY HAS EVER CLEANED THERE GOOD ,NOR DO THEY DO ANYTHING FOR THEM SELF. DURING THAT TIME THEY DO PAY FOR MY CIGARETTES AND POP. When I ask her a yes or no question, she responds with either "affirmative" for yes, or "negative" for no.

Sometimes instead of saying to me, "Hey what's up, what's going on?", she says "Status Report!".

When we go to swimming pools I have never seen her swim.

I met her at a top secret laboratory, but from what I understand she is just an employee. Is my girlfriend a robot?

ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

I really like this girl that works at my hospital but I don't know if she likes me. I never have a problem picking up girls but when it comes to her it seems like a big challenge.
