Recently I've got the feeling that this boy at school likes me. I want him to ask me out, but I'd be embarrassed to date him, even though I know I shouldn't be. I'm just so self-coscious, and I know everyone would be talking about me, and my friends would be like 'why are you seeing him?', and I'd never bring him home to my parents. I know it sounds really shallow and everything, but if he asks me out, I'm scared to say yes because I know I'd get laughed at, and that's the last thing I want.

To make a long story short, i have been with my boyfriend for 18mo. we live together, he has 4 kids from a previous married (his ex is a psycho). he used to be a hard core partier and drank a lot, now he does not. we have started fighting over everything lately. he had a rough past, and it rears its ugly head a lot, and when i get upset he basically gets mad and tells me to get over it. i work 3 jobs and when it's the weekend time he will sit at home and do dumb projects and if i text him he won't respond EVER, and then when he does he will get mad at me for getting mad. see? just stupid **** that is avoidable. he broke up with me 4 months ago, then we got back together. he says he bought a ring, but he has said that before. we spend every waking moment together and all we do is argue. we're even fighting now cause he is painting his car and it isn't going well and he's mad that i expected him to text me today while im at work! ugh, what the hell is going on here?

I'm attractive and in shape, I have no kids, I'm a professional with a college degree, I have good credit, I'm a home owner, I have a friendly personality, I don't have emotional baggage, and I have a great boyfriend.

My friends are in the same boat but are single and men don't seem to gravitate to them (when they do, they don't stick around). Is it men or do women gravitate to the wrong type of men?

my current boyfriend is allowing his ex girlfriend to move in with him. she recently got evicted from the home she was renting and apparently had no place else to turn. i personally don't feel bad for her at all because it is her own fault. i never liked her (not because she is the EX), she has no manners and no morale. the first time i met her (before i was dating my man and before i never anything of their history---i thought she was just a friend) i didn't like her. she was telling me about her sex life--apparently she thought that either myself or my 10 year old niece would like to know. i have absolutly no respect for her and have told my b/f that i didn't care if he talked to or hung out with her but i want nothing to do with her. since she is now moving in tomorrow (him and i do not live together) i have told him that i will not come over when she is home. i made it very clear in the past that i do not want anything to do with scum like that.

There's this guy at my school that I like a lot, but lately he's been acting kind of weird and it's hard to tell if he likes me or not..

Some days he'll make it really obvious and happen to show up at all the places I am and glance at me a lot , almost stalker-like, and he'll want to be near me, etc.

Other days, he barely seems to acknowledge me, is he trying to not scare me away or is he just not interested and I'm getting the wrong idea?

This is really quite confusing. =/

What happened was i
borrowed by dads car for a date since my bf's car was in the shop and i had forgotten to pick up mine from the mechanics because it needed an oil change.Since my parents were away i was lazy and just borrowed theirs.Anyway i decided it was time to loose my virginity so to be romantic my bf got wine from his parents place, got some sheets,flower petal and two candles.We parked in my favorite spot with a great view.Everything was perfect and we were cuddling afterward till the car started rolling backwards because we forgot to put the parking break on.The candles fell and the back seat caught on fire.The only thing he left out was that we had sex.

My ex and I broke up after 3 years together. Its now christmas and new years and I'm getting more anxious to get back together for one of them. It's been a week since I have talked to him. Should I call him and make one last attemt to reconcile or should i still do the ignore thing make him miss me thing until he can't take it anymore? I want to wait til atleast christmas and hope that he will call on xmas and tell me to come over. Or should i call him first? should i buy him something for xmas to show him im still thinking of him or make him feel like im not thinkin of him and it will make him come back more because hes not receiving the attention i used to give him? im so lost and confused. please help me

Theres this guy I like and hes only in my science class. I see him staring at me alot and my friends tell me hes shy. but the thing is whenever i try to say hi to him or actually say hi, he never responds back. im worried wheather he thinks im annoying or if he likes me. well,theres this guy i have known for 4 months and we are friends,we met at an after school activity.

i have never talked to him before I always make eye contact with him...he is varsity kicker for football. he has an image that isnt exactly cute, but its very rugged. his best friend always bugs me and my best friend. I can always seem to find him near me in the halls. I smiled at him and he sort of strided near me and said hello by putting his hand on my shoulder? I dont like it when people swear but he does i cant help feel that its hot.. his friend and him go to anger management---which is freaky.. and on the bus his best friend comes and sits in my seat. He freaks me out ( like rapist style) but i am flattered at the same time??? One time he was throwing a football in the halls when it flew over near me..he catches it and then stops in front of me and drops it. then he walked away and said to his friend "u have bad aim man"...looks back at me and winks. WTF is going on with this guy? and what does he want from me..

I've opened my own business and it's in a public place...part of my job is to spend time chatting with customers and being hospitable to them. This sends very mixed messages to friends & family who think it's perfectly fine to drop by, whenever they please, expecting me to chat with them too. At first I didn't mind, but now I'm way too distracted when they are there. My SOLE focus needs to be on my customers & when I have NO customers, I want to keep busy with all the other tasks that need to be done or else I'll end up really stressed at the end of the day. Friends/Family observe me chatting with customers and think it's just one big "social session" without ANY awareness that customers are PART of my job---and idle "chit-chat" with family and friends is NOT part of my job! PLEASE tell me what to say--once and for all--so that people will start respecting my time & schedule! I've complained constantly about how busy I am, but no one seems to care.
