Recently I've got the feeling that this boy at school likes me. I want him to ask me out, but I'd be embarrassed to date him, even though I know I shouldn't be. I'm just so self-coscious, and I know everyone would be talking about me, and my friends would be like 'why are you seeing him?', and I'd never bring him home to my parents. I know it sounds really shallow and everything, but if he asks me out, I'm scared to say yes because I know I'd get laughed at, and that's the last thing I want.

maybe u guys should just be friends, even if u do like him, idk if its worth getting laughed at about something stupid at a young age, in a few years everyone will mature out and it won't matter who u go out with! gl

If you really like him, you shouldn't care what those other people say. If your friends are really your friends, they'll understand and they won't say anything.
