I allowed my son to have a myspace as long as I am able to check on it. He was willing and gave me his password and sign on name (and I even help him create his page). I am allowed to go on and check up on him. Also your parents can set up an account in their own name and that gives them the ability to check in on your myspace. Make your myspace page private so that only people you add as friends can see it. Maybe this will help

Give your parents the username and password, allowing them full editing access to your account as well as who is in your friends list and what is in your inbox at any time...
Keep your profile private.
Don't add people that you have NOT met face to face, unless it is a myspace band or movie.

Tell them thats the new thing and that your friends all have one. Let them know they can go on there at anytime and monitor what your doing if they'd like. Just wondering why you would ask them for permission?
