I HAVE BEEN STAYING WITH MY COUSIN AND HER HUSBAND (AND OTHERES THAT COME AND GO) SINCE JUNE. I HAVE BEEN HELPING PACK AND MOVE . EVERYDAY I GO BEYOND NORMAL CLEANING AND WAITING ON THEM. NO ONE REALLY HAS EVER CLEANED THERE GOOD ,NOR DO THEY DO ANYTHING FOR THEM SELF. DURING THAT TIME THEY DO PAY FOR MY CIGARETTES AND POP. I ALSO GET A LITTLE OF MY OWN MONEY NOW AND THEN,BUIT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW WHAT U THINK OF SHOULD HAVE BEEN GETTING ALL ALONG.

They are providing you with a roof overhead, food, pop and smokes. I really don't feel they owe you more than that. A cleaning woman only makes like $10 per hour and takes her butt home after her work is done. Total the hours you put in(honestly) and then see if that would cover room, board and whatever extras you may need on even the cheapest place to live. I am sure you will see your situation in a new light.

Providing assistance doesnt always mean financial. It depends on what arrangements were agreed upon up front. Sounds like a win win situation. Evidently you're all helping each other. However, if you feel that you're being taken advantage of, then by all means, discontinue the arrangement.

It really depends if you live there or not.If you live there then you should be paying 500dollars for room and board per month.Cigarettes do cost money and if they are family members it wouldn;t hurt to do this for them.If you want to clean for any one else (not family members) then you should change 10bucks per hour.

nothing you had free room and board, free food, free cigarettes, free pop, free loafing, free money now and then, and you had to work by cleaning after people, and the normal household cleaning and packing.
That is what you call when you live relatives, and you were taken care of, free food, electricity, free showers, free place to sleep and etc, you had to do your part of bargain.
You got the better end of the deal! They had to take care of you, and pay extra expenses of your lilving expenses!

Try to get out on your own .I am in a similar situation and my goal is to be able to care for myself. Stand on my own two feet after i suffered a broken leg this past summer. I have been depending on other ppl and it's time for me to get back to taking care of me.

I would charge alot less than it would cost for room & board, pop, and smokes. Be grateful for the roof over your head until you can afford your own place.

they are giving u a place to stay for free. they are feeding u and giving u soda and cigarettes and even money ... the least u could do is clean and help them move... if u don't like doing it get a job and get ur own place

You get room & board and it would not be unreasonable for them
to give you a small allowance in appreciation of all your work.

You cant charge because its their house, in a way they are taking advantage of you but they probably feel its okay because they are letting you stay there.
