We've been together for 2 years and we have many plans for our future. The issue here is that i can't stand his family: his mother, sister, father, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins... Nobody. I can't even hear him talk about them. What can I do about it? I love him very much, but me and his family are totally opposites.

i dont get it. i have know my daughter in law since she was a
teenager going with my son. i love her and i thought she loved
me. i have been nothing but nice. now they are married and have
a baby and she hates me. i offer to help when my son says she
is having a bad day if she needs anything i would bring it to her
she says i can come over but she dosnt answer the door. she says she is in the shower etc. she says to call and she dosnt
answer the phone. i only get to see the baby every two weeks
maybe for a couple of hour inbetween baby eating and napping.
her mom and family see the baby all the time and our family
saw the baby once. i am so hurt this is our first grandchild
and i thought it would be different. i bought the baby an outfit
and my son told me how cute the baby looked on thanksgiving
at her mothers house and i have never seen the outfit on her.
i also didnt see the baby on thanksgiving. i buy the baby a toy
and i never see the toy again. what should i do?

Im confused? I have a best friend we used to date like a month nothin big. well i didnt talk to her for like 7 months till i got back from tech school and i was back for only a couple weeks. we started talking and now im stationed in alaska. we talk almost everyday but she has a boyfriend and she texts or asks me several times asking how i feel about her. sometimes i get so mad and frustrated (over the stupidest things at times) that i get a crazy urge to "cut" myself - well its more of scratching, but wutever. does this mean i should go to counseling? it's been going on for over a year and a half (on and off).

just yesterday i was frustrated bc i couldnt find my phone - i was livid! - so i took a knife from the kitchen and just starting jabbing at my arm. it was just a reaction, and now i have 5 ugly scars on my skin - i'm so retarded! i want to stop but the compulsion is too hard to fight sometimes.

do i need help? or will this pass?

Why is it that the majority of women in high school prefer a guy who is rough with them and fighting or yelling at them rather then just being with a guy who really cares about them. U know a little romantic with a soft touch or something. A guy who is calm and romantic yet sets standerds and sets the rules. Do yall prefer a guy who is warm and gentle when handling your body or a guy who is eager to just get atcha for the , pretty rough an un manly in my opinion!

6 years ago I found a stash of hidden porn my husband had. I told him this bothered me & he promised to never hide it from me again. Now I stumbled across another stash & don't know what to think? At first I was upset, but now I kindof think that maybe if I told him I was willing to watch it too, he would be less embarassed by it. Should I offer to watch it with him to ease the situation a bit or should I tell him never to bring it into our home again? I'm on a fence with this one. I'm a male - 20 years old. I have a friend that I have been good friends with for about 4 - 4.5 years. We are best friends, but I like her as more than just that. She was dating a guy for about a year and a half.

About 4 months ago I told her how I felt. She told me that she didn't want her feelings for anyone else to interfere with her current relationship.

Her other relationship was not very serious and she broke it off about 2 weeks ago. I finally worked up the courage to ask her again and she told me that she couldn't because it would be weird and left the house without really saying anything else or talking to me about anything.

Now I'm stuck. I really like her and it will not be as easy as just accepting that we will only be friends. We are rooming for college together in Fall '07 so I don't want to ruin it - but I don't know if I will be able to be just her friend and watch her date other people again.

Please help me...
