So there's this guy I like ALOT. He sits in front of me. We are really good friends and get along pretty well. Well one day he turned around and we both started staring at each other in the eyes, not saying a word and he reached out and poked me on the shoulder. I mean he reached over the desk to poke me with one finger. He immediatly apologized. What does this mean was it on accident or on purpose?

Its me again. Yeah the one who picked a loser for her sons father.
So he is in jail for embezzlement. Missed out on the whole pregnancy even the birth of his son. Before I got pregnant I had everything. A new car, good job, and I was in school. Now i've been on a leave from work because my son is breast fed and he is very clingy. I had to turn my lease in early because i wasnt working so i dont have a car now. My mother had to move in with me to help me pay the rent. Of course I had to quit school and bills are piling high. i feel like such a failure in life. I know you have to make sacrifices for your kids and god is blessing me, but i cant stop feeling inadequate as a person. can someone help! Serious people only. I woulndnt make fun of your situation. If you are going to be rude dont answer because i wiil report you!

My Grandma works cleaning on a college school. When they graduate my grandma picks up the things she finds like pencils, sticky notes, notebooks, etc, and those things are not even used. Their brand new. My grandma gives these things to my uncle and he doesent's even use them. He only buys things from the store. Why does he buy from the store instead grabing it for free, and their brand new.

the biggest responsibility in my life is to care fore my mother, who is a widow. the second is to try to be a good bf for my gf who has depression, because of these i feel sort of depressed- like i can't make my life the way i want to be. i love my mom and my gf but they are lonely, sorta dark people. so recently i met this girl, who is beautiful and intelluctual and very innocent. i think i fell into love not with her, but the dream of being with someone like her. she kinda liked me back but has a bf. is it normal to like someone so quickly? did i feel this way only as a means of escape?

Things seemed to be going well. Then she suddenly stopped returning texts and phone calls 3 weeks ago. Still haven't heard from her. One of her friends saw me out at a bar and I was waiting for a buddy to have a couple of beers. Did she think I was out looking for other women? Or does it mean that she just isn't interested for some other reason? Women, have you stopped talking to a guy and not told him why before? What's going on here?

I can't seem to cry but so far I eaten 3 breakfasts and now I'm about to go to a lunch with my family. I guess what I'm trying to ask is how do I stop eating and how do start to let it go and maybe cry a little. She was 97 and had 13 children, 30 grand children, 86 great grand children, 11 great great grand children, 1 great great great grand child on the way in may.

I'm looking for serious answers here. Nothing along the lines of "duh" or "of course".

I'm just wondering, because I haven't been able to find a woman who thinks that it's important for a man to live his life with integrity. Most women that I know think that it's great when a man is unfaithful, lazy, bullying, and dishonest in general. They view him as being a "bad boy" who has "edge" and is a "challenge".

On the other hand, a man who is confident, mentally and physically healthy, a community leader, intelligent, romantic, honest, and would be a devoted husband and father, is seen as "boring" and "too nice".

Why is this? Do these women have low self-esteem and think that they don't deserve better . . . or, do men of integrity have to start being losers in order for women to appreciate them?

I look forward to your intelligent and well-thought-out answers

When my boyfriend and I get married, we've agreed that it won't be in a church. His parents are very religious (picture of Christ over the bed, Christian gospel is always playing on the radio, etc.).

How should we go about telling them? I'm not so much concerned with them disagreeing with the choice as I am a respectful way to tell them.

(They don't know I'm agnostic. Yet.)
