Here's the situation - I like this girl, I asked her out, she said yes but brought a friend along. She also always has this other guy's screen name on her away message, he's always telling her she's nice or something. I want to ask her out again, but should I? and should i request that it be with her alone this time? Or did she make it clear that she didn't like me?

I want to buy her something for the holidays, maybe impress her. What's a good present for a 14 year old girl (I'm 14 too, don't get any bad ideas lol)? I want to get her something meaningful, and not too expensive (not that its the money thats the problem, i just dont want to scare her or anything). Also, note that I'm not sure if she's even thinking about getting me anything. I hope she is, but if she's not.....

What should I do? What should I buy?

My girlfriend of 2 years cheated on me 8 months ago. I was devastated. I was hurt and most of all really angry. Even though we are still together not a day goes by that I dont think about it and that it hurts me. I always have this questions going around my head. Mostly a lot of why's? Why did she do this to me? Why did she lied to me? Why didnt she respect me enough to just to be truthful to me and tell me the truth? Why? Why? She never answers my questions, mostly is like she wants to leave it in the past but I cant. How can someone tell you they love you, when they are loving someone else? Now I am really angry. I find myself with no patience for her. Sometimes I get so angry that I pick fights with her just to scream at her. I dont really know if I love her anymore or just dont want to be alone. I dont believe anything that comes out of more and dont have any respect for her as a person, woman or anything. I care for her and sometimes I find myself just planing my revenge.

My husband of 9 years is leaving tomorrow for a week's work trip, we haven't even kissed in over 2 weeks!!!, when I asked why we haven't made love even though he's leaving and we won't have the chance for another week or so, he made it out that I was out of order! and now he's not even talking to me. Is this right? We are both in our early 30's, I'm not a great looker, but not too bad either. Am I asking too much? Is there something wrong with me as he's making it out to be? Ok I have been going out with this guy for a while. He says he really like me but im not sure. Ive never dated anyone like him before. Ive always like smart guys and we had at least a couple things in common. The guy im dating now is not academically smart, and he doesn't have that much common sense either. I like him but i don't love him and he says he loves me and im wondering if im holding back because im being snotty or something. Like i know that no one is "better" than anyone else, but ive always pictured myself with somone a little more.. well.. sophisticated i guess. I mean we have kissed and stuff and it seems like he really likes me and i think he thinks i don't like him. Ive had to reassure him a couple times. Do you think i should break up with him? I don't have a bf, but there are some guys that have made it obvious (in social settings) that they like me. Well, I have a couple of guy friends that like to tease me by calling any or all of these guys my bf(s). Because 2 different guys do this in 2 different areas I've lived I'm just curious as to why they say that? Are they jealous or do they just like to hear me say I don't have a bf so they can laugh at me..... or are they just trying to have some fun by teasing me....... or do they say it because they think I'm just a big flirt.....???? I'm a first year high school teacher and my collegue, also a first year high school teacher seem to have this 'thing' going? She has a live in boyfriend and trust me I really don't want mess with that BUT everytime we're talking some serious flirting is going on. She's always touching my arm, slapping my shoulder, the hair twirling, the smiling, initiating the conversation. I try and act naive but it's the student body and the faculty that notice and I can't disagree. Trust me, if she didn't have a 'live-in' I would definitely make a move but ...deep down I don't want to be a homewrecker.

What is your honest opinion on this situation? Play it safe? Make a move? What do you think?

next step meaning asking me to be his mrs. my husband allowed me to be a stripper because we were absolutely broke... he was working and I was doing that on the side,,, of course men violated me on a daily basis...and he knows that.... after all it was a strip club.... is he wrong for letting me dance..I quit dancing....but is he still wrong? and doesn't that open the doors up for cheating?

ok so this girl liked me back in highschool and i rejected her. She's a pretty girl and stuff. He is a very outgoing person (he likes giving girls hugs) but whenever he sees me he gives me a hug and he also gives me a really really long hug. He never used to give me hugs before. He also sat with me for the whole time at a school fuction, and he was always laughing at my jokes.
One other complication: hes my friend's ex-boyfriend (she broke up with him a month or two ago)

I think that I'm a pretty terrific girl, with lots to offer in a relationship. But, it seems like every time I become interested in someone, they either cheat, or have a girlfriend/wife already. I'm really busy, so I find that dating online works for me (or doesn't work) and I also date primarily black men (I'm white). Does the medium I use have anything to do with it? Do most black men cheat (I hate to stereotype, but it's been the standard with me)? I don't know what to do besides remain single the rest of my life because I am really tired of being hurt. My parents divorced about 11 years ago after 35 years of marriage. Holidays, are nothing any of us can look forward to, even though my sister, brother and myself are all in our early 40's. No one gets along at the holidays, everything is fragement, and regardless of what is done, the other parent accusses us of being parchial to the other. My brother is a dictator, I have had a Staph Infection called MRSA, his 22 month old daughter has one as well. He blames me for her getting it, and I haven't been around here since I was first diagnosised 5 months ago. My sister and I were on the phone a little while ago and we both are crying because our family is so damn screwed up. I'm so unhappy, and have had trouble, lots of trouble sleeping lately due to all the turmoril and friction with in the family. My husband says it's crazy and has suggested we simply stay at home Thanksgiving and have our own meal, just the two of us. I can't stand my brother, love my sister dearly. Help
