I'm a first year high school teacher and my collegue, also a first year high school teacher seem to have this 'thing' going? She has a live in boyfriend and trust me I really don't want mess with that BUT everytime we're talking some serious flirting is going on. She's always touching my arm, slapping my shoulder, the hair twirling, the smiling, initiating the conversation. I try and act naive but it's the student body and the faculty that notice and I can't disagree. Trust me, if she didn't have a 'live-in' I would definitely make a move but ...deep down I don't want to be a homewrecker.

What is your honest opinion on this situation? Play it safe? Make a move? What do you think?

I have friends who were in the EXACT situation. After he got up the courage to discuss it with her, it turned out although she was living with this guy for 4 years, the fact was that the flame had died years ago and she knew it. She was just looking for someone who she thought was compatible with her. In that case, her teacher/collegue was the answer. He helped her break up with her live in boyfriend, she moved and it worked out fabulously. They are now engaged and planning a wonderful wedding. I say, if you feel the spark GO FOR IT!!! :-)

Play it a safe. You don't want to get into a relatonship with another teacher in your first year. Students start to look at you and her different if they know and your colleagues start talking about how the "new guy" is with her.

Let her sort her relationship out first before you do anything. If she really likes this guy she is with, then you know, if she breaks up with him, give it a shot.

Nah, dont make a move. Sometimes courtly love is more exciting. Wait on it for a while and let those feelings you get every day from seeing her lift your spirit and give you energy.
Maybe Ms. Right will find you irresistable in that state of mind. ;) Peace.

play it safe, some women are just a tease. If she's doing this to her man, what makes you think she won't do it to you, if you guys hook up

TAKE A CHANCE. THIS COULD BE YOUR ONE TIME FOR TRUE LOVE. BUT IF YOU FEEL AS THOUGH YOURE NOT GOOD FOR HER OR VICE VERSA, THEN JUST LEAVE IT ALONE. ITS NOT WORTH EITHER OF YOU GETTING HURT. TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK.

You risk all by not risking at all.
