My father passed away a few months back and his mother did a few months before. In her will it states that her children will share the money between them from the selling of her house, which mens my brother and I should get my fathers share to split between the two of us. Only now i'm hearing that someone who is not even related to the family has to sign over so my brother and i get my fathers share. My question is what does this woman have to do with my grandmothers will? Would it have any thing to do if my father would have signed it over in her name before his death? Understand this is very upsetting for me because this women was not even married to my father but actually someone else. I feel she only used him to clean up. Can anyone help me to understand wills and how it works?

I had a long distance boyfriend who lied to me and had his family lie to me about him being in a car accident just to "protect" me from the truth. He had actually been arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time and continues to proclaim his innocence. He says I am being unreasonable and cruel because I want to end the relationship and all he was trying to do was protect me. He has even had his family contact me to try and convice me that he really did have my best interest at heart. They have also called me uncaring and selfish. Who's right?

a guy friend was just telling me that he never replies back to emails or text messages if he agrees with what has been said. i said 'well thats just rude' and he said 'its just that guys are lazy'.

There's this really, smart, shy guy at my school, but he's a senior and I'm a junior. We only have one class together, and that's a 30 minute lunch block and completely crowded. I'm new to my school, and I'm really shy, and so is he. I know a name and a face, and we said hello to each other once, and that was durring a cross-country meet and we haven't talked since then. I have been dating this guy for four months. Everything appeared to be going great. He told me he loved me, & we were spending a lot of time together. One evening, he & I attended a birthday dinner for one of his friends. At the end of the evening, his friend said to my boyfriend, "I'll see you tomorrow night." I asked what that was about...my boyfriend told me that his friend & friend's girlfriend were going to meet up with my boyfriend & his old girlfriend. I was shocked & upset. I told him so (& cried about it in front of him...dumb, I know), & he said there was nothing wrong with it. Then, I didn't see him for a week...and last night he broke up with me, because he couldn't deal with the pressure of me being upset over him not telling me. He said he doesn't feel like he needs to tell me these things. Am I wrong in feeling upset? Why would someone break up after telling you he loves you and not even try to work things out? I feel like an idiot for getting upset.
