I have been dating this guy for four months. Everything appeared to be going great. He told me he loved me, & we were spending a lot of time together. One evening, he & I attended a birthday dinner for one of his friends. At the end of the evening, his friend said to my boyfriend, "I'll see you tomorrow night." I asked what that was about...my boyfriend told me that his friend & friend's girlfriend were going to meet up with my boyfriend & his old girlfriend. I was shocked & upset. I told him so (& cried about it in front of him...dumb, I know), & he said there was nothing wrong with it. Then, I didn't see him for a week...and last night he broke up with me, because he couldn't deal with the pressure of me being upset over him not telling me. He said he doesn't feel like he needs to tell me these things. Am I wrong in feeling upset? Why would someone break up after telling you he loves you and not even try to work things out? I feel like an idiot for getting upset.

So this guy thought it was ok for him to double date with his ex while in a 4 month relationship with you ?? Is he crazy ?? He did you a favor by breaking up with you. What should really have happened was you breaking up with him the night you found out. Who in the world wants a relationship like that ? Thank god you found out now.

Your first mistake was crying. Your second mistake will be holding on. Don't feel like an idiot. Relationships that don't work out are learning experiences. He was going out with an EX?? He's probably back with her. That should have NEVER happened. Good luck. =) It takes one to get over one ;P

He obviously didn't love you and didn't think that you two had a committed relationship. After 4 months a guy would know he needs to clear that sort of thing with you first.

I would have gotten upset too. I completely trust my fiance with other women, because I believe that nothing is going to happen. But I would definitely think twice if he didn't tell me about it before it happened. It would seem like he was trying to hide something.

From your side of the story, it sounds like he already had this "in the works". Meaning that whether you cried in front of him or not, he was going to end it. This guy is not worth it if you ask me. You're better off finding someone better... you desereve it.

So you're single huh.......possibly fragile enough for re-bound sex........hmmmmmmmm where ya from.......whatcha do....on which date do you introduce sex on.....can this speed up when booze is introduced....

It means his ex for some reason got better looking since the last time they met and therefore went back.
