My friend told me that there is "the look" or "a look" that two people who really care for one another have for each other. She told me that my boyfriend and I have this "look" whenever we are together. She can't describe it other than to say it's just there.

Has anyone heard of such a thing?

ummm, well it a good thing. It's your chemistry that thing that connects two complete strangers and evolves over time, it really can't be explained. Have you ever looked at two people and just knew that they were in love? That's it

Yes luv, I have; I was buying clothes with my hubby at a store; I have recently begun to lose alot of weight and I have to re-equip my waredrobe... Anyway, we're at the cash register (I'm busy paying for the stuff) and a saleslady walks up to me and says that my guy really likes me and loves me... I don't have time to respond that she says "You can it all in the way he looks at you". Of course I blushed, but since then, I have noticed that some people seem to say that we have "a look" when we are together.

It's strange but I think it's possible, especially for women, to see such things which are normally "invisible" to most people's eyes (especially men)

People have written songs about it, so there probably is such a thing.

You probably simle and/or giggle alot where you look at each other. Watch a mother looking at her baby, and I think that this is probably the expression that you friend is talking about

I think that she means that you two look good together. Kind of like how your carpet might match your drapes. Or a pair of jeans go well with a certain top.
It's just a superficial comment, & has no bearing on your compatability with your boyfriend.

I don't know that it is so much of a look but just being able to spend time together without saying or doing anything and being perfectly content.

I've heard that myself... the look is when you can just tell in the look of your eyes how much in love you are... and a look is just a common look.

There are several looks of what you are describing. One of them is Take off your clothes I want you now look ;)
The look your talking about is a rare look so don't let it get away.
