a guy friend was just telling me that he never replies back to emails or text messages if he agrees with what has been said. i said 'well thats just rude' and he said 'its just that guys are lazy'.
that made me think about all the times that my bf has never replied when i've said something. like the time i said 'we have a good thing going here' and he said nothing. is it true that most of the time you don't reply if you agree?

Doesn't it make sense not to reply to message that does not require a reply?
'we have a good thing going here' is a statement. If you added 'don't we?' then it would constitute a reply.

I'm not sure why guys are so self depricating, telling girls we are lazy. That's just his way of explaining himself out of a situation. Most guys if they agree in my opinion, will respond back.

it depends
If I agree with something, and its not that important, I may not say much or anything in response, "This cheese tastes good" may not get more than an "ok" from me, but "we have a good thing, or "I love you", or "oh my god the a car crashed through the window" will get a response if I agree

No he is just lazy and wants you to think he is like all of the rest of us. Don't get me wrong I'm sure someone out there is just like him or close enough that it don't matter.
