Okay so a dear friend of mine....an ex....is having problems with his gal. I told him i can't really be in his affairs considering we still know that the feelings are mutal towards each other. Since we leave on two sides of the country right now...the "What if monster" popped back up in his head. I understand that you should live and let go but wow, conversations now are even more deeper then when we were younger. Should i continue with the friendship (hoping that things will never get passed the bad) or tell him to let the thought go of what if we were together. I have spoken my peace and said that things could move on but he is at a stand-still....and is lost at the forked road the friend or love.

I recently met an exchange student from Denmark, and even though we intended to be just friends because he is going home soon, us spending time together has turned into a bit more than friends. We both feel pretty strongly for each other, but I am worried that since I wont be in Denmark until next summer, that we will loose that closeness, especially since we wont be able to do more than talk through chat and email. Are there any suggestions as to how we might be able to keep our relationship alive?

I recently reconnected with an old friend from high school, and I was saddened to hear what she's been going through.

She married at 20; he was 26. She wanted to have children as early as possible because of a history of gynecological problems in her family, but he wasn't ready for kids until he was 32 and she was 26. Unfortunately, they were unable to have any before she had to have a hysterectomy at 28.

Last spring, while she was away for a month with a dying family member, her husband "got lonely" and had an affair with a temp at his work. This young lady informed him in the summer that she is pregnant and plans to give the baby up for adoption.

My friend's husband wants them to adopt the baby. She would be willing, but he and the young lady insist it must be an open adoption with the birth mother having frequent contact.

My friend says she just cannot do it if she has to see the birth mother all the time. Is she being unreasonable?

i watched and even supported my friend paul as he become paula .
Im cofused though , since he made his tranasition he seems more interested in relationships with other trannies and lesbians than anything .

I mean he knows I'm not a virgin! So I really dont want to tell him because some of them were when I was younger, and yea I guess I am afraid he will judge me! like if he thinks it is too high he will think I am a slut! and this could change his opinion of me... my ex of 8 yrs & i are trying to work things out except i am having trouble believeing why he left his gf of almost 3 yrs to now try. i recently found a letter she wrote him (6 months post break up) in which she calls me every name in the book (yes even the c word) & confirms some of the things i thought he felt about me (not good either). should i let him know i read this letter or give him time to prove himself to be a changed man?

I've been talking to this guy that I meet over the internet. It's been about 2 months and we've really hit it off over the phone. Neither one of use know what the other looks like but I've been asking around and have found several people who knew him in high school they have all said the same thing, that he was quite, and shy. Not one person has said anything bad about him. He seems very nice and family orientated. Would you think it would be safe to let him pick me up or should I suggest that we meet somewhere. Ok, lets just say you are in a relationship..one day sooner or later your partner is going to ask the question of how many other people you have slept with prior to them, What should you say to avoid arguements, loss of respect, jealousy etc.. should you lie, tell the truth or simply tell them it's not their business?? I'd like to go for the not their business option, but what if your partner wont let up and really feels like they need to know, (In my situation I am a bit older than my partner (5yrs) and he has been in two really long relationships previous to me and that is the only people he has been with (2), where as I am older and I have never been in a serious relationship till now, I don't want to tell him that I have been with over 10 guys, as it may make him feel in experienced or he may lose respect for me... I need some advice. I got married in may of 2004 The day after we got married he went back in the service. In August he said he want a divorce. Here it is 2006. I cant find him. I want a divorce. I do not have the money to hire a lawyer. I have a baby now but he is not the father. Since we havent seen or spoke to each other in over 2 years do I have to say anything about my baby. How do I get a divorce? Isnt there something about running it in the paper if so How do I do that.
