Well, the person is there for you no matter what. They are there through thick and thin. From the hard times to the joyous times. I have a friend that has been there through love/relationships/death/end of relationships/etc. She was there when my grandmother died, she was there when I fell in love the first and second time. She stood by me and comforted me when my heart was broken. They are the friends you can wake up out of the bed crying at 3 a.m. and no matter what, come to your house and listen. They cry when you cry, they smile when you smile, but most of all they're there when no one else is. That's a good friend.

1.helping you without execpting gain,most my friends especially males they help me execpting something inreturn.but as a person been helped i would think of approiate means of thanking that person.but this usually comes with conditions before help is excuted.
2.tell you why they did't do want you wanted them to do or come or give you want you asked them.i have a good friend of mine she tells me point bank as to why she could not come or do what i asked her.from here i will be able to know her perfectly so that i don't denpend on her all the time.
3 tell you other friends that he/she has and treat you differently from others.respect you in front of other people which may include the other friends of his/hes.as a human everyone is entiled to have many friends but we become royal to one friend forgetting that one may have other friends.that is why when we discovery we feel unwannted in that friendship.this is just a mare frienship not an inimate one.
4 knows your fammily and is willing to know more about your family.

u can check his/her character first. and then take a step forward. if his/her character is ok then see how true she is to herself as if some 1 is true to themselves only then they are true to others. then about the behaviour as everybody is not perfect dont expect them to be perfect just try and adjust with the behaviour which u dont like as there can be a sitution where sometimes people may not like ur behaviour.untill it is not disturbing u emotionally.

A good friend to me is one who can help you out through thick and thin, and one who will be able to listen to you in the worst of days. I want to be able to laugh and cry with my good friends, and I want them to know that they have a shoulder to cry on when they need one.
I also want a friend to be loyal and who wont talk crap, or back stab.

u call him to ur place if he asks u something that u didnot expect then he is good or he is bad, ( defnitely u will expect bad)
