If you can afford to quit your job it might speed up the process of getting over him. Otherwise you are just going to have to tough it out. Either way you have learned a valuable lesson. Dating a co worker is in most cases a big mistake. The rule that took me 40 years to learn is, if you are dating someone you work with. It just means that you are at work to much.

if it is against company policy that is an issue.

you can ask him what he thinks you should do.. i.e. ask him, should i leave the place? if i did would you be interested in seeing each other etc..?

if you are appreciating the money then just quiting may be an issue, however leaving your job if he isn't interested in seeing you if you leave the site will be you leaving for no issue.

meanwhile if you make the guy uncomfortable.. what is your future like at the place?

thing is if he told people he was seeing you and you denied it.. it may have hurt his pride. and image. maybe he felt good that others knew he was seeing you because you are a catch... so when you said no you wern't it made him feel like nothing?

I was in the same situation years ago, and if my current wife hadn't denied it when that question came up i would have been terminated from the company. She eventually quit, but when she denied it at the time she was doing it because she did love me, not sure if he feels the same about you or he would see that.

ok, so you denied the whole issue and he broke up with you? you were just trying to save his *** from being fired! if he doesnt want to pursue anything with you, you should stay there anyway...it may be hard, but why should you let him get the best of you? good luck.
