i found a letter from his ex -should i tell him i read it?

my ex of 8 yrs & i are trying to work things out except i am having trouble believeing why he left his gf of almost 3 yrs to now try. i recently found a letter she wrote him (6 months post break up) in which she calls me every name in the book (yes even the c word) & confirms some of the things i thought he felt about me (not good either). should i let him know i read this letter or give him time to prove himself to be a changed man?

Are you going to achieve anything by telling him this? You were prob very aware anyway that this girl had negative feelings about you. At the end of the day, it's you he's chosen over her so what she has to say is irrelevant as she's the loser in this. As to the negative things you thought he felt about you, more than likely it was just lip service on his part to try and reassure her that he no longer had feelings for you, which is obviously untrue as you are now back together. Hope this relationship works out for you this time around honey, but if it doesn't, hey, there's plenty of handsome single guys out there, it's a big wide world. All the best.

No people would be changed, so just check his response to those action or idea or words which you guessed that he would not like. Then you will know how to deal with him and the letter.

Yes, there's no such thing as privacy privileges between two people that truly love each other, they are as one. If you face him with this the only thing you could lose is something you never had.

No you shouldnt.... and apart from that you shouldnt have read it in the first place....hearing or reading things you shouldnt know about are never good..so why did you let your curiosity get the better of you?
