What do I get my bestfriend who is a man for his birthday.I want something that will show him how much I care for him and want to thank him fro always being there for me when I needed him.

For those reasons, it has to be something very personal that he will always keep.
Something that will remind him of you and your gratitude and friendship.
Maybe something engraved, a lovely photo frame, money clip or jewelry.

You know him better than us. Whats he into? Games Movies TV. A cool watch is always good, don't get him anything engraved. What age is he? If he has a favouite TV show you could get him a series on DVD. Concert tickets to see his favourite band. Get you some lingerie and wear it for him! Bring him to see a sports game he likes or maybe he'd like an mp3 player (gadgets are good). Does he like your fashion sense as you could buy him a nice top as i know i hate buying clothes for myself. Otherwise just buy him a pint, men are easy and i'm sure he'll love whatever you get him as long as its not girly. Aftershave is a crap idea, i have bottles of the stuff..... every relation who doesn't know me buys me a bottle of the stuff.

get him something that is personal and involves the two of you...like maybe a scrapbook, or get the cutest photo of you two and frame it. something cute along those lines, he will remember and cherish that forever!
