I need some advice. I got married in may of 2004 The day after we got married he went back in the service. In August he said he want a divorce. Here it is 2006. I cant find him. I want a divorce. I do not have the money to hire a lawyer. I have a baby now but he is not the father. Since we havent seen or spoke to each other in over 2 years do I have to say anything about my baby. How do I get a divorce? Isnt there something about running it in the paper if so How do I do that.

Whatever Branch of the Service he was in, they can help you, and you should have his SSN, you can find anyone with this.
Sorry to hear about your Divorce, many young couples, especially those that are Military are separating, But Congrats on your Baby, after that long period of time, I wouldn't involve your little one, he's an innocent. Any Divorce Attorney can help and guide you too with your concerns. Take Care.

you can go down to the Court House and there is a free legal advice center that not only will advise they will assist you in completing the form needed. You do have to pay for the filing of all forms. They would be able to answer all your questions. You can find where as well in the yellow pages. Its a first come first served so get there early 7am and you cant bring children.

You could hire a Private Eye to hunt him down and server him with the papers. You probably have to mention the baby.

This happened to my cousin. She contacted the army and they found him and served him. He has no claim to your baby since hes not the father so even if the child does get brought up he can't take the child from you.
