I am in love with a very strong young black woman. We have been together for over a year. I want to marry her but she says we are not ready. I want to give her the world. The fact that I am white and she is black isn't a issue. White women have always tried to pin me down which was a turn off. I WANT THIS ONE TO PIN ME DOWN. What can I do to get her to fall head over heals in love with me.

My ex contacted me recently after she left me, & we were able to meet as well. She explained how sad shes been feeling recently, and that she still loved me, although she walked out on our marriage because she believed I hurted her. But the thing is, I dont feel the love from her side. I mean, her ways of showing love before was different, but now I just feel like shes just saying "I love you", gives me a few kisses, and asks how was my day.

Am I just imagining, or is it possible that my ex just says that she loves me but what she actually means is that she misses having someone in her life? She says that she can feel my love, so Im sure that Im not doing anything wrong. But I remember how she insisted on the divorce because she kept on saying that she can never forget how much I have hurt her, & I believe that she is still hurt after 7 months of seperation, but she probably doesnt know it. Am I wrong?

is because white men are available to them to date,
but in asia, they are forced to date asian men, because men of other races aren't in abundance there. so if given a choice, asian women would systemically end their own race.....

My best friend is about to get engaged. But she had scoliosis surgery five years ago and is afraid to let her fiance know because she feels insecure about the scar. Everytime someone asks a question regarding how to get acceptance from people, be it friends, dates, employers, etc, it seems like the automatic response is for everyone to spit out "Be Yourself!!" I've followed that advice all my life, I've never actually tried to change myself, but I have no friends, never had a boyfriend and everyone around me seems to get annoyed at me and people avoid me. So I'm being myself, and it's scaring everyone off. It's been like this my whole life (even during early childhood) and I go to school in a very large city in HUGE schools. So, should I NOT be myself?

I'm in high school and recently went on a student exchange to China for several weeks. I met a girl there whom I started seeing and became very close to. Unfortunately, it was inevitable that I would have to return home (to Canada). I can still talk to her online, but I miss her a lot and am completely unable to see her. Every boy goes for girls that are short and skinny-blonde hair, flat tummy, teeny-tiny feet. I am 66 inches tall with curvy hips. I am a brunette w/ some weird color of eyes that always change colors. My stomach is never flat unless I skip a meal. And I wear a size 10/11 in women's shoe.
Nobody likes me just because of those qualities and it never has been easy for me to just get out there and start life being liked. None of the girls at my school even want to be friends. I noticed that all of the boys in my classes go for all the other girls and they look straight past me like I am just not even there.
Sometimes it just makes me cry. I really want to be like everyone else. Be asked to dances, have straight hair- have a boyfriend and tons of friends. Or at least have a social calendar.

Or maybe I just don't realize that it is just time to give up all hope.

Sometimes my husband will take me out to the mall and I will see all these pretty women wearing these cute little jeans and I have asked my husband he would get me a pair and he said no :( He tells me that pants are for men and look too immodest on women. My dad told me the same thing so I have never been able to wear them. I guess I'm being a brat by me still asking every now and then but I guess I just wish I could wear jeans just once in a while, maybe every third Friday or something. Do you think there is anything I could say to my husband that would make him change his mind? If not, any tips for being content with dresses and skirts?

My father is a veteran. He has asked to come live with me, my husband, and my four year old daughter. He is living an hour away in a group home for veterans now. I feel this would be a good move for him to be a part of the family. I am a Christian and I run a pretty systamatic house hold. He receives monthly VA check $1700. How is the best way to handle this situation. My husband and I both feel it is ok for him to stay with us if we get a bigger place. I am just not sure where to start on covering all issues in advance. ANy advice or anyone in this situation?
