My best friend is about to get engaged. But she had scoliosis surgery five years ago and is afraid to let her fiance know because she feels insecure about the scar. But to me it's barely visible and i told her that he wouldn't mind. Her response was i'm not a guy so i wouldn't know how he would feel. So any guys that are here please back me up. Cuz i really don't know what her prob is.

She's really insecure at this point.. and it will take time.. but she has to realize, not everyone is immaculate.
She needs to trust him, and let him know.. if their engaged, and plan on getting Married sooner or later he'll see it for himself, I mean if they do plan on spending the rest of their lives together... a scar is the least of the worries, and if she can't be comfortable with that.. then that's a sign there.. I mean what happens when children are into the picture, is he going to be immature about it? Pay attention to these details, it's a key important factor to be comfortable into the relationship..$hit happens, it's a process of life.

I dated a girl who had major heart surgery, the scar was( and still is) very noticable. If it turns him off then he isnt worth worrying over anyway.

She shouldn't even consider getting engaged if she has a secret and if she thinks he's that shallow she shouldn't marry him
