LOL...no.... I kept getting ragged on by my Mom because I wanted to get married. But hardly anybody lived together before marriage in those days. I did what I wanted to do, knowing it was my decision, not hers, and I've never been sorry. I probably should have finished college first... she was right about that. But if I had it to do over again, and if I had to choose college OR marriage, I'd still choose marriage.

We've encouraged our children to get married instead of just living together, because statistics prove that when people love one another enough to make that marriage commitment, their relationship has a better chance.

Actually, it's the exact opposite with me! My mom is trying to keep me from getting married!! It feels worse actually. I'd rather have your situation.

I never have been pressured to even date!

They knew that I was a picky dater, so they knew I would make the best decision. My mom trusted me and still does trust me.

Pretend to tell her that you are gay and later she will be so relieved if you date a guy she wont bother you about marriage.

No. She knows that I will do what is best for me. It's my life and I will know when the time is right.

Yes. I'm 52 years of age and she still tries to push me into it, I keep telling her I'm far too young. :-)
