If I follow my heart it gets broken,
If I follow my head, my heart is unfulfilled.

Either way, there is no winning. I once had the love of my life for 12 years and since that ended, I'm convinced that there is no more love for me.

My advice - go for the one night stands and just be friends. Love is too painful.

I find myself following my heart in my current relationship & I have been doing it for 9 years. I still find my self un happy at times. I think that I'm doing something wrong, maybe I should start listening to my head but the out come will hurt my heart. Maybe you could use a little bit of both. Let me know which works best.
