I am in love with a very strong young black woman. We have been together for over a year. I want to marry her but she says we are not ready. I want to give her the world. The fact that I am white and she is black isn't a issue. White women have always tried to pin me down which was a turn off. I WANT THIS ONE TO PIN ME DOWN. What can I do to get her to fall head over heals in love with me.

I wasn't aware that we were harder to love. I don't think her race has anything to do w/ her not being madly in love w/you. She has to want to be in love w/ you. It's not something you can "force" her into doing. Good luck

The way to make a woman like you is to let her take care of you. Women are turned off by guys who want to give them things. Leave immedietly and find good excuses not to come back. She feels no attraction for you.

I am sure she already loves you. One thing you have to understand about us pretty mocha & caramel colored sisters is we sometimes come with a little baggage that we don't even notice. It is hard for us to trust men, when you have seen your own history of women mistreated. Black women over time just grew to be strong women because they had to, not so much because they wanted to. When you are forced to raise your kids alone and provide for them no matter what, when the father or husband walks away from his responsibilities, yes, that does push you to be strong and sometimes it cause a person to take longer to love or allow themselves to be loved. This happens also when a young girl grows up in this environment. Be patient with her, and be that strong person she needs you to be. DON'T GIVE UP! In time she will let her guard down and not only love you but allow you to love her as she deserves to be.

I don't know why exactly we get targeted like that, I mean there are sisters who don't know how to love. I know some of these sisters. We sometimes get so high and mighty, that we don't want to settle for just anyone. He has to have no imperfections at all. We expect a lot from a man. I do anyways, and if he's not like my father with taking care of business, he's out of there.

did she explain why she thinks you two are not ready?

I would just say give her time . . don't try to force her or you might push her away . . . just continue to be there and show her that your love in genuine . . she just wants to make sure she's doing the right thing before she jumps head over heels . . good luck!!

They aren't.... she just doesn't feel ready to marry you. If she loves you and you love her you will wait until she feels the same. It's uncanny, my white bf says the same thing to me.

bc we dont put up with no crap..we see right thru the bull we know what we want and we go for it..we dont put up with lies , cheatin, or anotha man otha than our father tellin us what to do. dont let us know we got u where we want u so fast or we will take that n run with it
