My wife and I are the mom and step-dad of a 12-year old girl. Our daughter's bio dad (in Indiana where they're originally from) wants to voluntarily terminate his parental rights because he has court ordered no contact with her due to sexual abuse and he's in bad health and can't afford child support and his increasing medical costs.

We're all in agreement that this is the best thing for our daughter, but the Indiana court will not allow him to voluntarily terminate his rights. I've looked on the internet and I *think* we can fairly easily inititate a step-parent adoption here in Arkansas where we live since the bio dad is in agreement.

I have two concerns: (1) The lack of concrete information available on the internet about the ease of the process worries me, and because we can't afford to hire an attorney right now, I don't want to walk into something I can't handle. (2) I don't know if the Arkansas adoption would override his child support order AND terminate his rights.

I am making myself miserable by thinking about being with someone, when I am attached. .I want her but it is something that is not possible. So why am I beating myself up about this?

My boyfriend and I are 15 years apart, (I'm 22, he's 37) I know, it's a big age difference. We live together, so the relationship is serious.
Sometimes I have a feeling I'm rebound girl, however.
Anyways, he says that I am good in bed, and I am agressive and open minded in bed. Yet, whenever I push for sex more than half the time he pushes me away. He says it's just because of the age difference, and that I'm get more excited than he does. To me this is just an excuse. Any thoughts?

Would you break up with your gf/bg, if you found that she/he had plastic surgeries before??

One of my friend had 2 plastic surgeries; nose and chin. Her boyfriend doesn't know about that and she feels bad... I personally don't care my bf had surgery before because I like his personality. but for some people, thats big 'no no'. What do you think? Should she tell him or not? If you found that, what u gonna do?

ps: yea her face is kinda different 'before After' but beautiful. and not looks like Surgery 'Cat Woman'...--

Am I the only person that believes in having protected sex everybody I know has unprotected sex with different people like it's no big damn deal like they would never catch any damn thing I think too many people are takin not havin protected sex as ah whateva they're clean nothin's gonna happen to me WTF I have only had unprotected sex with 1 person & I was with him for 7 years & there's people that even get or give head with no protection sayin it's not sex it's just head so my question is how many people have unprotected sex by just sayin oh their clean or goin off the other person sayin I don't have nothin???????

He has an abusive nature especially when hes drinking. I have no where to go and if I left I would have to give up all my belongings ( I mean everything is mine ) including my dog. I want out but dont have the $ or people to help me move. I cant stand him anymore , but I still love him too.I hate it the next day he acts like nothing happened or its my fault or worse yet he will buy me presents or flowers.And now he doesn't even want to have sex. Yes, I'm a faker. When I have sex, I've found it's easier and 'nicer' to fake than tell the guy 'it's not going to happen'. I thoroughly enjoy sex, but I've never been able to orgasm with a guy. This worked out fine in my early 20's since I changed partners every 3 months or so and I could always polish myself off. Now I've hit a snag since I'm with a guy I truly like and would like to actually have an orgasm with him. The problem is that I've faked with him, so how do I teach him to please me when he thinks he's been pleasing me all along? One of the things he likes about sex with me is that 'I come when he's in me'. Well....that's not true. And if I start teaching him (saying move here, slow down, no not there, ow!, etc) he's going to pick up that things have changed. Am I doomed to come clean about this? I've been with my boyfriend forever. And as far as I'm concerned he's THE ONE. Really the only one I could actually consider myself spend the rest of my life with. She suggests going to a "home town" jelwer or a "mom and pop" type shop. Any suggestions on the topic? The reason I like chain stores and major retailers better is because they wont be likely to go out of business as much as compared to the smaller type stores. Plus you can get better deals?
