BEST friends and I REALLY LIKE him But I don't know how to find out if he likes me and tell him that I like him! HELP!!! I went to this dance with my friends and I also brought my sister(because she had a date) so I just started to party around that when I met up with my sister she said that an 8th grade girl liked me my sister even told me that she came up to her and told her. I asked what the girl looked like and she said that she had black curly hair and her nationality is Mexican. A couple of days later, I found out who the girl is , she barely looks at me, her cheeks turn red (looks like she had a fever), and she stutters when I talk to her, How could I tell if she really likes me?

Ok, let me elaborate. I'm an Asian teen and I'm in high school now. Asian schools are usually strict and extremely hard on students academicallly, so naturally, when they come to America and see that things are a little more carefree, they push their kids a little. Now my mom doesn't give me that much pressure, but if I get a B, she will freak. The good news is, I have a 4.0 GPA now. The bad news is, my greatest dream isn't to get straight A's and go to Stanford like I always told them. That's my second greatest dream. My first, is to make my living in the music buisness and I'm already preparing my self to be one of the privileged few that can get by on that. I practice alot of violin, piano, and guitar everyday, and I'm working on my second song. The problem is, how am I supposed to tell my parents that! If you come from the Asian community, the typical stereotype is that you go to a top notch college and become a lawyer or doctor. Not a music artist. How do I react to the inevitable

a little while ago my ex-GF was picking up a large portion of my book so she could edit it, well i go inside for a minute and when i go back out all of a sudden her new BF slapped her hard. Without thinking and purly out of instinct i attack him and assuming the worst, i think i broke his ribs and arm, and broke my front door while i was at it.
so anyways, my ex-GF started yelling at me and tended to her BF, so after calling the ambulance and police and so on, they take him to the hospital and she leaves with him. while i spend a night in jail =(.
so my question is: Did i over react to this whole thing, should i have controlled my emotions better? Should i apoligize to her?

My mom is 43. Shes not old and wrinkly or anything. I think shes very beautiful. My guy friends call her a milf. But sometimes I wish she would just dress more "momly". I don't think its just accident that her skirts are short and she has way too much cleavage. She likes to parade around a lot, especially by my friends or school. my best friend for many years has basically abandoned me since i got pregnant with my 1sts child. my daughter is almost 1 now and i confronted my friend on why she hasnt been around and why she associate herself with other friends with kids but not me. she confessed that she is jealous and doesnt know how to get over it. i feel she has done things to spite me recently and for her to bring my baby girl into it upsets me... she has lots of friends that have kids, why is she treating me this way, is the friendship worth saving? also she lives around the corner and never visits my daughter and i go out "socially " with her and other friends as often as a new mom can. i dont feel that i have changed and my other friends have all treated me the same as usual. advice please!!!

I have went through answers and I find very few questions the depict stereotypes and insults coming from the black race to the white race. I see countless insults coming from the white race. Some of these questions attack black women. I am starting to think that the bigger picture is a four letter word "envy." What do you think?

My brother in law has major psychological issues. We aren't talking right now because my husband and I got into an argument with him and my sister in law a few weeks back. Well today I went on a fieldtrip with my kindergartener, and his wife was there with her kindergartener. I didn't feel right talking to her, after we had gotten into the argument. I would feel like a hypocrite if I talked to her, and hadn't actually forgiven her for what hapened. Some really bad words were exchanged, and I'm still not over it. I guess I'm just tired of this happening over and over again. Well he called me like 10 times harrassing me about me not talking to his wife. He told me that karma is a b*tch and that I was going to get mine. I don't know what I did wrong? Can someone tell me. I don't want to deal with him anymore! What do I do?

My husband of 5 yrs. is going out of his way to get in touch with a "friend' from High school (7yrs ago) she denied his friend request so he emailed her, I am extremely upset because not only did he not tell me, but he doesnt see anything wrong with it.....we have an abnormally "perfect" relationship and this is so out of the norm, which is another reason why i'm so surprised, am i in the wrong for being upset....or do i have a right? We havent talked for all day, should he come to me? I tried explaining my side, but he still doesnt see anything wrong with it..........HELP PLEASE!!!



I should add, on his defense, I also have a myspace, with friends from high school.....HOWEVER......he has met these 2 guys, and one was even invited to our wedding! I have never met nor heard of this woman hes trying to get in touch with. My point is ................if they were such good "friends" in high school, why have they not kept in touch for the past 6 year

well there is this guy in my class and hes absolutely obssessed with me the other day he kept touching me in a frindly way and it was all fun. then before calss was over he asked me if i wanted to be more than friends... and i said no that night at the football game(i go to most of them and he is on the football team) he didn't talk to me or say anything and he just made it really akward and so today in class he was tellin everyone in the calss that i am his and then he liked cradelled and dipped me and stared into my eyes.. although he dint kiss me i know its coming because he asked me to give a kiss on the cheek. I have a connection with an awesome man he is attached by marriage and I know he isnt truly happy. We are very close and I know it's not the best situation to be in. We both care about each other very much but will not take it to the next level. I feel i need to break away but am afraid of losing the bond I have but i also want him to decide on his own what he truely wants. If i stick around i feel I will just cloud his decisions. I've been divorced around a decade and am coparenting my two children with my ex-husband. Our son (oldest, 17) lives with his father and stepmother, our daughter, 13, with me. I moved to the same town to be near them because it was unfolding that our daughter probably wouldn't have a relationship with dad and family otherwise. I never expected the royal treatment, or even thanks, but they are SO disrespectful of my schedule, they don't facilitate our son spending time with me, in fact they discourage it. Whereas I do what I can to facilitate our daughter spending time with them. I'm sorry to say that it's getting me down. I have five more years of this. I feel a slave to this situation. I would do whatever it took to make it better, but it's clear there isn't anything more I can do. Anyone have anything to say that will give me courage to face four and a half more years working with people who are disrespectful of me as a matter of course? I am single, by the way.
