My wife blocks the incoming calls from our son that is going thru a divorce. She says she cannot stand for him to call when he is drinking, plus she does not want to discuss his soon to be x wife with him. He was in the Iraq war, and he saw some things that I did not see in Viet-Nam. When he tried to talk to his mom about it, she told him that the United States should not have been over there in the first place. This is not what he wanted to hear. He served our Country Proudly, and now this has all happened between him and his mom.
He told me Dad you are the only one that will listen to me. I told him that he could call me anytime, but do not let the drinking get ahead of his motions and feelings. Yes, I have to agree that I have cut him off when he starts repeating himself, but I do it for his good, or at least I think I do.
He is 36 years old, and he wants to meet someone to have his own child with, but he thinks that he is too old for that.
Has anyone experienced this?

I am half Chinese/half Caucasian. When she's angry (like if I make a mistake) she'll start insulting the Chinese, terms too nasty to type here, or making fun of my mixed race, like a "mongrel"... at times like this I just ignore her, because I don't want to fight, but it riles me up inside and stresses me out!! (Oh, and she is always saying ignorant things about other nationalities too... I don't know why she's so hateful..)

I am very popular with girls and always got their attention but I have never had a girlfriend in my life. I was raised by my mother and never had an idea of how relationships work and noone taught me how to deal with girls. I am in my 20s and I just recently understood that a girl will never approach you even though I expected it all my life. We don't have any real relationship problems, but he says he wants to live alone. He's moving into an apartment owned by his friend, the next road over from the one we live on. I asked if it meant that we would no longer be together, and he said we'll see how it goes and that he would still pick me up for work and my son (not his, 15 years old) to school, and take me home every day, because I don't have a car. It all seems so odd...and terrifying to me! I cry when I am alone because I think this may happen before the end of the week... oh and we are still going away on holiday in December!!
