It's just a cute nickname that he has for you. It's not a bad thing. Some men do this and some don't. My sweetie has tons of nicknames for me.

It is really just a nickname, but I think that he is just flirting with you. Even though you two kissed before, he might think that you don't want him, so guessing that he calls you "doll" or "babydoll", he can get you back. I may be wrong (since right now, I'm guessing that he likes you), but see how he feels about you. Unless he's not shy, you better go talk to him when he's alone.

It is a term or terms used to convey one's attractiveness. Through the decades it has been used commonly. Since females have not made a vigorous protest about being called doll or baby doll, the male feels it is okay to use them.

There's a meaning. When they do that, it means they want you. Guys are deluded into thinking girls think this is cute and endearing. He is interested in you. The question is, do you want HIM?
