A childhood friend is like a touch stone. They know the kid in you and you know who they were. It's a special bond, but too often we don't take the time to keep in touch. Time, different life styles and just relocation often prevent the continuing relationship. Hope you have kept at least one and if you did, you are lucky.

Don't see any childhood friends anymore. After high school we all went different ways, and there really was not enough to keep the friendships going. I guess we all changed so much.
My husband on the other hand still has friends from Preschool! We live in the town where he grew up, and even if people move away, they always seem to move back. It's very strange to an "outsider" like myself.

I recently moved back home after being gone for eighteen years. I have got in touch with a lot of old friends from high school and am really enjoying it. I still stay in touch with friends from all over...Mississippi, Texas, and Colorado. I think that is nice to get back to your roots and enjoy the company of people that I grew up with!

Actually , I was just talking about this the other day, I've lost touch with every single person, I knew in my adolescent years. In past instances when I ran into them, like in the mall or something, we exchange numbers but we never call. Its like we are not on the same page, most have kids and well, I don't so we really have nothing in common.

I lost touch with all of mine. We all moved away from eachother. We use to talk occasionally but the longer we were apart from eachother and started meeting new people is when we lost all touch. It's sad though. I still think of them and all the memories we had.

most of them, yeah. but i've been best friends with these guys for 12 years (i'm 20). i've known them almost all my life. i think the reason for us still being friends is because they live right down the street. but the people i went to school with, i just kind of lost touch with them. oh well, at least i got my best friends still.

Yes, and I'm only in highschool. I lost track of them when I went to a different middleschool than them, and I came back and everyone went through puberty. But you know the best way to keep track of them is through facebook. You can find anyone who has one if they go to college and you know their full name. It's nearly impossible to find people on myspace.
