I am marrying for the second time next spring and I had intended on my 7 yo. son walking me down the isle. When I told my dad I was engaged the first thing he said was "can I walk you down the aisle". I didn't really have a wedding the first time but I'm not sure if my father "giving me away " is appropriate.

in the summer, a boy from my school started txting me and said that he liked me alot. well, my parents found out and they got pissed off, so i had to stop talking to him because i was 14 and he was 17. now that schools started and i see him every day staring at me, i cant help but miss him. i dont kno wat to do cuz my parent will kill me if i talk to him, but i really want to talk to him. i kno i shudnt like him, cuz hes older, and he did drugs, but all the things he said to me were so sweet that i overlooked it, and now i cant seem to get over him

There is some girl that I have been talking to for the last 3 weeks or so. Then yesterday, she caught me staring at me then I looked away. Now, today, when I walked into the classroom, she was putting her head down. I am guessing she doesn't want to talk to me because she knew the message that I was giving her yesterday. How am I suppose to tell her that wasn't the message that I was trying to give her? Well, yeah, I do find her attractive and everything but I do not want to give her that message yet though. What do you think I should do?? I want to be friends with her first so I can have someone to talk to and hang around with in school.

The other day my boyfriend and I went to go see Jackass 2. A guy in a wheel chair rolled all the way down the side walk. ( a very long way) and told me I was pretty. My boyfriend tells me how hott I am and how he is scared that maybe I will leave him. All my friends family and strangers tell me I should be a model. BUT heres the catch... hai i am a girl from india, where we get married not by our own choice, our parents choose the guy we marry . thats how i got married.its been a yr since i got married n now i live in US with him. i myself am an engineer.i want to make it clear id did not marry him to come to US but married him only coz my elders choose him n thought he was suitable. he is a good man, no doubt but for him i am always a second priority. he expects me to adjust to all situations. his parents have come to my place, they r healthy n fine but he wants me to do all their job, serve tea,breakfast,lunch n dinner, even though i do all this i dont even get any kind of appreciation. he says his parents r old fashioned so they dont appreciate, all i have to do to cook n take care of them instead of taking my carrer seriously. if i talk to him abt this he only fights . if he loves his parents let him take care but here he forces me to do everything n then does not even love or care for my feelings, i am very hurt

There's this friend that I've had for about ten years who basically told me to "go f%$^" myself. He told me that becuase I chose to move to get settled in the city where I'm going to college instead of visiting him and his wife (another friend of mine 10 years) that it was "the straw that broke the camel's back." He told be I "backburnered" him and that I was being selfish, that my move will get me nowhere and that I acted before thinking out all the consequenses. I moved here when I did becuase I had to so I'd have a place to live, so I could get a job, and get started in classes, he told me that becuase I'm not taking any classes this semister that makes my reasons all "BS". Now he isn't even speaking to me, I don't know why he reaccted this way, does anyone know what I did that was so horrible?
