I had a joint party. Within a week my mum and her twin were 40, me and my cousin were 18 and my brother was 21 so I had that party with the family and then me and my friends spent the rest of the week clubbing every night. We would wake up in the afternoon, go shopping for a new outfit then go clubbing, it was a very exhausting cycle but it was fantastic. It was ten years ago and I still remember it fondly.

I turned 18 in the summer of 1972. I was eligible to be drafted and sent to Vietnam. The drinking age was 18 back then. I can't recall exactly what I did, but I'm sure in involved beer at Shakey's Pizza Parlor, a chain now defunct as far as I know.

Completed my scuba certification on my 18th b-day. It was a blast! Celebrated that with friends with a nice dinner out and drinks. Very memorable indeed!

I watched my boyfriend play video games for a while and then cried my eyes out because none of my family called me. 18 was supposed to be a special day, a "milestone" yet all I got to do was start paying taxes. Woot.

Wow, that was 13 years ago. Hmmm let me think.....Oh I remember, I was pregnant and my mom threw me a little "family" birthday party! Not very exciting, sorry!
