My husband and I have a 3 year old little girl. I'm filing for divorce on Friday. He is a drunk, and abuser(physically and emotionally). I'm currently a full-time student and work full time nights. I will live with my mom until I finish school. I'm willing to walk away from everything except my daughter. He can have it all. I can't live without my baby. Any advice?

Ok well, I like this guy and he has a girlfriend, and so he looks at me and yeah etc. But me and my friend we made a note together, a love note, and gave it to him during lunch period. When lunch was over, he opened and looked at it, but I don't know what his reaction was because I just ran down the hall not knowing what was going to happen next.. and then we were at the locker area and when i was just going to 5/6 period I saw a girl looking at the note with a reaction like "WHAT?" OMG?!" etc. But in 5/6 we did a handshake type thing and so I don't know what to do or what's going to happen how do I fix this I feel like im going to get slapped by his girlfriend or something!?

One of my (female) friends has a male friend at work that she thinks would suit me, me and the bloke are both single. She's mentioned maybe a group of us doing something like going bowling but he's suddenly gone really against the idea saying he's wary of having a blind date! Do most blokes think like this or would you say there's something more to it? I was just at a funeral and the guy had prepaid for his funeral and he had written out his own short biography and it had been laser etched into stainless steel pages. The book was simple but interesting talking about his childhood, his brother and sisters, his parents. These were his memories that he wanted others and family members in the future to know about. There was also an etched photo of his wife and children and Family Tree on back of the book. I was told the funeral home made two of these books. One went in the Coffin and the other went into a cool looking locked box in the front of the grave stone for people to read years later with the use of a key given to family members. Anyway, his sister said the Stainless Steel will last for 200,000 years and he wanted his life and his thoughts and memories to be remembered more than for JUST Born 12/041937 Died 9/9/2006 I think this is something I would like my Parents to do and maybe me ? What do you think ?

a very close friend of ours is having triplets and was stressing out about raising them so we volunteered to help

hes actually going over to his mates to play the playstation....
weve been together nearly 3 years and are very much in love, we were due to go out and celebrate my bday this weekend but he said he was skint, which is fair enough. I cancelled a night out with my friends knowing he couldnt make it and we agreed to all go out together at the end of the month (his birthday is on the 28th Sept so a joint birthday thing).
Then Yesterday he told me he was going round his friends to play playstation on my birthday.

I kept quiet and didnt say anything.I thought he was just having me on, that he was secretly planning something for me. However today i asked him again and he was serious. He doesnt see it as a problem, and is still going round their tomorrow night.
Broke my heart that ive gone to all the trouble of cancelling out everyones plans for me just for him,breaks my heart even more because he doesnt see anything wrong with it. Im so upset, am i right to be? I wont see him at all..

I told my boyfriend last night that I loved him. He paused and said that he does not know what to say, he says that he was a little uncomfortable. He says that he has not realy thought about it. He then sat there and started talking about all the things he likes about me. After a few minutes of this he finaly said I guess I love you too. Is this a good sign that he took the time to think about it. Or was it a forced awnser?
