DONT ASK HIM OUT ON A DATE.. ASK HIM AS FRIENDS IF HE WANTS TO HANG OUT SOMETIME. YOU DONT WANT TO RUN HIM OFF. GO UP TO HIM INTRODUCE YOUR SELF TO HIM (IF HE DOESN'T KNOW YOU), ASK HIM IF HE WOULD LIKE TO WALK WITH YOU AND TALK. FIND OUT WHAT HE IS INTERESTED IN. EXAMPLE: WOULD YOU LIKE TO WATCH THE GAME WITH ME ON SUNDAY, I HEARD THE SPORT ZONE HAS ALL THE GAMES SHOWING. IF YOUR NOT OVER 18-21, THEN ASK HIM TO GO TO A HIGH SCHOOL GAME WITH YOU. GOOD LUCK

There a few things you have to investigate before asking a guy out. Try not to laugh if you already know him well enough. I'm just trying to give a few pointers.
- Does he have a girlfriend/wife? Or worse yet, a boyfriend/husband?
- Does he show any interest in you? ie. flirting, checking you out, excessive friendliness
If your answers are no and yes in that order, I say the best way to ask a guy out would be to set up a scenario where you offer your help and guidance in doing a certain task ie (studying, buying something he needs, pet grooming) That way it won't seem like a date, but more of a friendly gesture. If you sense that he is interested in dating you (during this get-together), you can innocently suggest that the two of you should see a movie together, go out for some coffee, go bowling (whatever you like doing). If he EVER says it will conflict with his schedule (and DOESN'T offer a better date or time to meet up), play it off and say that another friend that you had asked prior is under the weather, and you simply wanted some friendly company.

I'm a guy and If someone cared about me the way you seem to care about your guy, I'd be sooo flattered to be asked out. So ask him. If it doesn't work out the way you want it to then it just wasn't meant to be! Chances are he has the same feelings for you and could be shy. Do it!

Flirt with him. You know, a casual smile, maybe if he responds...later a wink. Flirt--little gestures mean a lot. Joke with him, etc. So and so-forth. You should be able to lure him into asking you out. If not, at least you can use this to break the ice and get to know him better.

Why would you have to ask HIM out?
If he likes you, he will ask you out.
Be yourself. If he doesn't like you enough to ask you out, then there are plenty of fish in the sea.

well it may be he likes you too but is shy so basically just do it his answer can only be yes or no, either way you will find out rather than never knowing what could have been.
