I know this might be a random question but it's true.
At my school theres guys who only want to go out with only the "hott" girls or the "popular" ones. I hate it! When do guys stop doing this and actully find a girl they love for who they are?

it has always been and will always be. After all,if you think about it for a minute,it should be quite obvious. When a guy sees a girl that he hasnever seen before-or a girl sees a guy - just what would you have them use as aguide as to whether they want to get to know them? Obviously their looks and build are the first things noticed. Getting to know what they are like as a person will only come after they have had the time to talk to them. Now right off the bat does the girl or the guy say to themselves -" oh man, they are so hot so maybe I should pass them by and find someone who isn't so good looking?" Somehow I don't think so. I have never heard a guy or a girl when talking to friends say oh they are too hot. I think I will look for someone who isn't so hot and get to know them sorry the world doesn't work that way.

I know. I just hate it! One of my guys Friends got a girlfriend on the 4th day of school. He doesn't know anything about her, he doesn't even know her last name. I don't know why they do that, but they should stop. For all the guys that do that, STOP! Maybe they'll learn a lesson once they see the movie "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" They will catch up with that crazy girl one day.

Young boys are usually like that. They will stay like that usually until they are ready to get married. That's one reason why I always dated older men b/c they usually know what they want - instead of being obsessed with girls.
I went through that too, I wasn't one of the 'good-looking' girls in high school, but now I'm a knock out! I just bloomed later than the other pretty girls. Hang in there, it gets better!

This might not be the answer you want, but you can't expect the attractive popular guys to be attracted to you if you are not the same. If your looks are subpar and you are overweight, you need to look for someone that is also below average looking and unhealthy. Our genes ensure that we will not be able to attract someone who is much more attractive. Try reading up on darwin and natural selection...specifically social darwinism. Survival of the fittest.

I'm a guy and i don't do that. Ofcourse there is initial attraction but a true man looks deeper. Plus, if she looks beautiful now, 30 years from now, are those wrinkles still going to attract me? I rather have a regular girl who has a beautiful personality which will last with me a lifetime. im just saying....

Well ...you should know by now..they only want one thing right now. but ..when it comes to marriage they will go out with a nice girl like you. So don't worry so much. let them go get the sluts. That's what boys do at this age. they want a release or it's probably scoring! You re in a good place, trust me..you don't want guys like that..they are not worth your time.

OMG i hate that! i mean, i guess some guys may find me attractive, but guys usually go for the fake barbie type girls. and just because they are considered "cool" to other people, they like them. most of them are fakes anyways, so dont worry 'bout it. some guy will like you for who you are and will find you the most beatutiful girl on the planet.
oh and i read somewhere that in attraction guys go for looks first, and then they are attracted to the personality once they get to know the girl. its not their fault its natures. =)

guys start chasing girls for the way they look and then get to know them better. they don't know (or care) if they are nice or not at first. let them figure it out and eventually some boy will see you for the great person that you are.

i'll tell you right now my bf is definelty not dating me for my looks! and he claims i'm the best looking one yet! but my bf is 31 so you have a long way to go, hun. you don't want to date a shallow prick like that anyways. you deserve much better.

When those guys find themselves alone, when those girl run off with someone else...they'll know. Same thing with girls...when they find that all they wanted was the cars, clothes and money...then they find themselves alone....They'll know.
